Meanwhile as the girl fled her city, Kerates was practicing more. He then got so strong that his people feared him. He then went to the man who trained him "I got to say thanks old man. You helped all you could, but i know you left out sooo much.." he said with a fake tone. In his hand was a large spear made of jet black ice. "w-wha.. how.. where did-!" before he spoke he threw it like a javelin and pierced the mans chest. The grown man began to laugh hard "you pathetic fool!! AHHAHAHA, You need to not worry! Thank you for teaching me all i need to know." He formed a sadistic smile as the old man collapsed. The bright red fluid drips and rolls down the ice and melts it. The man snaps his middle finger and thumb together and the ice melts. The old man fell over and quickly died. A pool of his blood and water pool up. "goodbye old man!" he said as he left the scene.
He then went to the kings building and he walked up to the king. The guards follow him shouting and talking him to back away from the king. He flings his hand back as a massive burst of energy is released and they get sent flying back. "Out of my FUCKING way!" he said in anger as he then got right to the king. The king, in fear said "M-my son, wh-what do you want?", He shook his head and said "i want you to step down, right now, forfeit the throne to me!". A rolling gasp among the people filled the room "That is preposterous!! We're nearing war with another kingdom! Are you really gonna-!" He used a spectral blade to behead the king. His blood spurts from the vessels and the body flops off the throne. The guards mouths agape and kerates took the clothes off the king and puts them on. "it wasn't up for debate you piece of shit, it was an order. ANYONE WHO OBJECTS ME WILL SUFFER THE SAME FATE! Am. I. Clear?!" All guards in the room, in pure fear yell "Yes my king!!".
"good, now, i want this entire kingdoms military force to go attack the kingdom we are nearing war with" he said as took a seat on the throne. He used his magic to vaporize the body. "B-but my liege.." a guard said in fear "No. Buts! Unless you want yours removed!" he said with punctual ferocity. The guard nodded fast in fear and they all took off out the door.
