Being stuck in a dark pit wasn't one of the most fun activities Angela and Dante have been involved in in their life time. There was no food, no water, no light and definitely no escape, just a wall, a round wall surrounding them both.

''I'm so sorry'' Angel muttered. ''It's all my fault, it's my fault we're here. If I didn't lash ou-''
Dante grabbed her by the arms, ''Don't blame yourself. You couldn't see what was coming, you couldn't predict that, non of us could''.
''If only my mother saw me now... she'd be disappointed. I was meant to be a doctor, not a warrior'' she sniffed her nose, sitting down against the wall. She pulled her knees close and buried her face in them.

Dante stayed silent for a moment, he wanted to think before her spoke. He sat down beside her, resting against the wall also, completely out of energy. He glanced to the side ''you know... you do look like her. You have her eyes...''
Angela didn't speak, she stayed silent until realization struck her mind. She frowned. She moved away slightly and looked him in the eyes. ''But- you never saw my mother''
Dante immediately shut his mouth and his eyes widened.
''How do you know how she looks like?'' She slowly backed up and stood up.
Dante once again stayed silent, but this time his mouth opened to say something. He also stood, taking a step back away from her. ''I mean- I guessed right?'' he laughed nervously ''Oh I'm such a flirt! Look at that!'' He sweated nervously.

Angela's face turned red, not with embarrassment, but with fury. ''You were there...''
''I was where?'' he pulled his collar, unsure what to reply with and unsure what to do with his hands.''
''You were there!'' Angela's stance turned aggressive. She approached him ''You were there when she was murdered and you didn't do shit!'' she felt fury run through her body as she took a massive step forward and pushed him to the ground. ''You broke into my home! You watched the other guy murder her in place! He showed no mercy, and you showed no interest in saving her!''
''Angela, that's now how it looks! I swear!''
''If not for you, she would still be alive, and I wouldn't be trapped here with you! I would still be home with her, still making the effort to make her happy!'' she approached him more as he backed away from her steps. She quickly stood up, hunched over to protect his face in case she was to strike him again. He never saw that side of her.

''Angel, please-''
''Don't call me that, you monster!''
Dante felt like his heart was shattering, but he couldn't waste this moment. He pushed himself forward, forcing a kiss on her lips. Angela pushed him back, not having it, not in this moment, not when they had to deal with potential death.
''Don't touch me!'' she screamed.  She felt her whole world shatter around her.

Dante, once again on the ground, found it hard to take a breath. He felt heartbroken. Angela backed away and collapsed to the ground, sitting against the wall again. She was sobbing, not only because they were about to die, but because she was going to die knowing the boy she had interest in was watching her mother getting murdered in her own home. His breath became more steady, he tried to compose himself. He didn't say anything. He backed up and sat against the wall, giving her space to herself.
