Chapter Two

(Val's P.O.V)

I woke up with a yawn, my hair was messy.

I get up and get dress.

I wore a black jacket with purple hearts, a skull shirt that covered my chest alittle bit but you could still see it which made me sad, and blue jeans.

I walk out of my room and into the bathroom.

I brush my hair and teeth.

I let out a sigh as I look in the mirror.

I hate my long hair and my body.

My tips flashed blue and I took a deep breath and tips turned back to their purple.

I walk down stairs with my bag, ready to head out the door.

As I reached the door I got stopped by a hand on my shoulder.

"Where do you think your going looking like that?" My dad said in his sturn voice.

"School..." I said hesitent.

"Sweetie, you know you can't go to school like that." My dad said messing with my neckles that Virgil gave me.

"Why?" I said getting alittle angry but not showing it in my tips.

"Because your a girl remember, you need to dress like one." He said making me angry.

I pushed him off and yell, "Ugh!! You guys annoy me sometimes! So what if I don't dress like a girl! Just leave me alone!!"

I walk out the door slamming it behind me with a sigh.

My tips where red but then they turned to a red blue.

I took a deep breath calming down, my tips turned back to purple but I was still sad, I just need to cover that up.

I started walking to Virgil's with my hands in my pockets.

I see Virgil outside his house wearing his normal wear.

"Hey Virg." I say walking up to him.

"Val, you ready?" Virgil said walking down his steps to me.

I sigh and say, "Ready as I'll ever be."

"Okay lets go." He said and we started to walk to school.

We were almost to school when Virgil said, "Val whats wrong?"

My eyes widen in panic and I say, "N-Nothing."

I could tell Virgil didn't blieve me.

"It can't be nothing just tell me." He said and I let out a sigh.

"Fine, I just got into a fight with my parents." I said giving in.

"Hey it's okay. Don't listen to what they say." Virgil said making me smile as we roll up to the school.

"Now come one, I want to see Mr. Anxiety's friends." I say grabbing his and and walking him up to the school.

"Wait, what subject do you have first?" He said making me stop.

"I was told that I have English first." I said.

"Me and my friends also has it so come on." He said making me nod.

We walk the hallways but people kept looking at me.

Manly guys but this one guy wore black and green winked at me making shivers go down my spine.

We keep walking until we see a group of three standing by the classroom.

"Virgil!" One of them yelled he wore glasses, a cat and dog shirt, and jeans.
