Love to the Fourth

Chapter 2: Confessions

Our four boys are all excited for the game to begin, Gabe and Lucas are on the rink ready to play while Adrien and Andre are in the stands to cheer them on. It's the South Mountain Giants versus the Green Hill Monarchs, as the game begins Lucas zooms after the puck snatching it away from the opposing team. "Looks like our center Lucas Trinity is going aggressive this first game" the announcer booms over the loud speaker. Suddenly an opposing player slams Lucas into the wall and scores a point, luckily Lucas is right back up. The left wing Mike Trotter slaps the puck launching it across the ice, barely being blocked by the opponents goalie. Lucas glides after the puck swerving after the opposing center, he gets it away and slips it in past their goalie. Soon enough the tides turn and the opponents start scoring one after another until they're up to eight halfway through the second period. "Come on Gabe you can do this" Adrien shouts from the stands, "You got this Lucas!" Danielle and Andre shout simultaneously. Both Lucas and Gabe smile widely and then immediately look laser focused, Lucas zooms away with the puck slamming it into the goal. As the other team tries to score again Gabe blocks their forwards shot, and the next shot and the next. Both wings Trotter and Beckmen score and Lucas scored three times by the end of the second period. As the third period starts Lucas wins the face-off and gets a bar down into the goal scoring again tying the game up. The Monarchs couldn't score due to Gabe's impenetrable defense and the two defensemen, as the buzzer is about to sound Lucas slap shots the puck into the net with definite force. The buzzer blares and the crowd goes insane cheering and shouting insanely. The team groups up and cheers and out of pure adrenaline Lucas grabs by the shoulders and kisses him hard. Gabe is shocked and takes a little longer to pull away, there are no gasps just a single screeching scream from Danielle, "What?!" The team rushes off into the locker room and changes quickly, there are murmurs around Lucas and Gabe. Lucas has his head hung low and Gabe is ignoring everyone, his fists balled tightly. Trotter comes by and makes a comment "Didn't know we had a few fairies among the giants" and before he could step a foot away Gabe slammed him against his locker and drew back his balled fist. "You say some shit like that again I'll use your balls as a puck and slap shot them right up your ass!" Gabe shouts and punches the locker. Gabe runs out of the room quickly, "Gabe wait!" Lucas shouts as he runs after his friend and teammate. Lucas pops out and bolts out to the parking lot, he sees Gabe hunched over surrounded by Andre,Adrien, and Danielle. He slowly walks over and when Dani sees him she screeches "What the hell happened out there!" , "Would you shut up already!" Lucas screams back. "What the hell did you just say!", "I said shut it you narcissistic little drama queen" Lucas stares at Gabe hunched over and says in a normal speaking volume "I'm gay and I've realized this for a while now but I didn't have the balls to tell you and just end it, I've been crushing on Gabe for months and you were clueless." Everyone just stares at Lucas silently even Gabriel, "I have a confession too" Gabe said suddenly, "I'm sorry to say this Lucas but I'm crushing on Adrien." Another period of silence occurs and Adrien blushes, "I have a crush on Andre" Adrien says pushing up his glasses slightly. "And this shouldn't be to shocking I'm crushing on Lucas" Andre says quickly, Danielle stares at all four of them and just says "So you're all GAY!" "No I'm bisexual" Gabe says, "And I'm pansexual" Adrien adds. Danielle starts laughing hysterically and sits down on the hood of Lucas' car and lays there laughing until finally she gets up, wipes off her skirt and says " I accept you all, I'm sad I just basically got dumped but I accept you." Everyone smiles and hops in Lucas' car trying to process all this new information, on the ride to his house they say nothing. Once they arrive they hurry inside as it starts to rain, they sit down and it seems both Adrien and Gabe want to speak, but's it's Danielle who's says something first. " Do any of you realize the fact the four of y'all are in a love square?" The four boys look up at once and widen their eyes in realization, "Are any of you going to speak!" She shouts. "So each of us like another, but not each other" Adrien says factually, "Lucas likes me, I like Adrien, Adrien likes Andre and Andre likes Lucas" Gabe says sounding slightly agitated. "So how the hell would that even work ever!" Andre says quietly. "How about we figure out how this happened first" Dani said surprisingly calm. "I started liking Gabe the end of last school year, that's when I realized I was gay, I just felt lured in by his incredible smile and amazing style and body, I couldn't help but fall.." Lucas said before quickly shutting his mouth realizing what just came out of it. " I've liked Adrien since sophomore year, I just loved his calm and introverted personality and the way he pushed his glasses up when he got nervous or concerned, and he just always has amazingly different ideas that make the world brilliant" Gabe blurted almost dream-like. " I fell for Andre the beginning of junior year, his voice was so enchanting and rich, his constant need to move and make friends made me envy him and adore him." Adrien muttered happily. "When I first met Lucas I fell hard, he was kind and brave and had a commanding air about him, and I knew I was falling deeply!" Andre almost sung. The four stares at each other after hearing each reason until Dani said " I think I have an idea that can make you all happy..."
