"Octavio?" Elliott called out. He wasn't even angry anymore, he would now admit he was afraid of the dark. He ran without even paying attention to where he was and now he was lost.
"O-Octavio?" He yelled again. He wished he didn't drink as much as he did. He began to feel dizzy. Elliott continued to run in a different direction. The trees were spiky and naked in the sky, now that winter was coming and he could only see the faint moonlight. He would admit he was terrified that he was now lost.
Elliott began to shake and walk slowly back the way he thought he came, looking for Octavio. As his silent trek began, the shrieking of birds above him pierced his ears.
"W-What the hell?" He whispered to himself at the mass off birds above him. He started to run now, his adrenaline pumping even more and the blood starting to rise to his face and ears.
"Octavio! Ajay!" He cried out. He was scared, something was here and he was hoping it wasn't a bear or a wolf. He didn't want to be eaten tonight.
The leaves around him started to crunch, he was shaking even more and didn't want to turn around. Something grabbed him and he let out a whimper.
"Octavio, I'm so glad I found yo-" A gloved hand was clasped over his mouth and began to scream. He didn't get a look at his kidnapper and then he heard Renee's voice calling for him. He couldn't scream, only frail around hopelessly. The cawing of birds didn't stop, they only grew louder. The dizzy spells he was having finally took over and Elliott collapsed to the ground.
—————————————"Elliott!" Renee yelled out. She had to find these two morons. Luckily, she knew her way back. She was curious to why so many ravens were screeching right now, but she found it rather poetic and mysterious, which appealed to her.
She heard a panting and footsteps thumping quickly against dead leaves and the earth below them. "Renee!" Octavio gasped out, his face looking pale and sweaty, "dios mío... I'm so glad to see you. I have no idea where the hell Elliott is. I can't find him but we need to get out of here. He's a smart guy, he can find his way back." Octavio stuttered out.
"What? We can't just leave him. You started this, moron, you have to find him."
"No-no-no. I'm getting a baaaadd feeling about this compadre we gotta go. Now." Octavio said, grabbing the girls hand and sprinting back the way he came. She tried to fight it but he pulled her along, leaving their friend in the woods.
