(This idea inspired by Sword Art Online but with a twist)

You were a skilled gamer, all the games you played you have completed with ease.
You didn't have to worry about school since you were able to finish all your assignments with no problem.
You were then intrigued by a new VR game which you could be able to communicate with other players around the world and experience the gameplay of the simulaton.
You bought it since the previous game you played was already completed.
You linked your headset onto your console and was brought in into the game.
You looked around to see you were in the middle of a city, seeing other players walking around or new comers observing the area.
You walked around, exploring before a intermission came into view from the sky.
"You all are now pawns to my deadly game" a voice told. "The only way to escape is to reach the highest levels and reach the boss battle which is me. If you try to disconnect yourself from the game then you will die. Over thousands lives were lost this past five seconds while trying to escape. Survive, make friends, create enemies, don't die. If you die in this game you die in real life. Have fun."
The intermission went off.
