Yamaguchi's feet pummeled into the ground as he repeatedly put one foot in front of the next. Trees and shrubs flew by his vision, dragging the boy deeper into the forest. The sunlight fell through the leaves overhead every once in a while, beaming up Yamaguchi's sight. Soon, the nature started to clear up and he found himself in an open field. The light hit the exhausted boy all at once, dazzling Yamaguchi for the slightest second.

As soon as he knew he was at the cliff, he allowed himself to double over in pain. Yamaguchi's hands flew to his knees as pain surged through his calves and thighs. His legs shook with agony to the point where his knees soon gave way to falling onto the ground. He panted, gasping for air. The pain in his legs and throat finally started to recede at a slow pace. Once Yamaguchi got his breathing back in order, he had enough sense to open his eyes and see his surroundings. His eyes sparkled and he took in the marvelous sight before him.

It was just as beautiful as it was that day. The blue colors of the day tinted with the yellow and orange light of the sun. A beautiful gradient from opposite and contradicting colors stretched across the sky. Thin clouds of dark purple color rested on the horizon, with a coral-like tint from the sun casting on their bottoms. Warm colors of the setting sun seemed to dance with the cold ones of the oncoming night. Almost as if the fire of Yamaguchi's heart is dancing with the coldness of Tsukishima's personality... used to dance, that is.

Yamaguchi adjusted his body into a more comfortable position; hands on the ground behind him and legs outstretched on the grass. He lifted his head to look forward onto the city. The usually gray buildings were now glistening with orange. Windows and mirrors reflected the sun, sending tangles and rays of light flashing through the air. Shadows of the looming buildings bled the beginning of the night's darkness throughout the city. From this height, Yamaguchi could squint his eyes and make out every little detail through the city. Right there was the Karasuno High School. And over there was Yamaguchi's house. It were as if he memorized a map of the city right into his mind.

Yamaguchi felt as though he had practically stepped into a memory. He was sitting in the exact same way as he was that day. His body in the exact same spot... Yamaguchi turned his head to look at his hand. Wow. I can even see Tsuki's hand. It's right there. As if his memory was a video, someone hit play and Tsukishima's hand slid on top of Yamaguchi's. Just like it did that day. I can even feel the heat from Tsuki's hand... Incredible.

He let his eyes travel from Tsukishima's hand, up his arm, and onto his face. That is when it hit him. Yamaguchi jerked his hand away from Tsukishima's at the speed of light and leaned back, clearly confused when he saw Tsukishima sitting right there next to him. His confident, gold orbs blazed into Yamaguchi's dull gray ones. "Wh-What are you doing here?" He stuttered from surprise. "When d-did you get here?"

"When you weren't paying attention." Tsukishima smoothly said, just as always. "Were you thinking about that day when you failed your test and I comforted you?" He averted his gaze and stared at the city rooftops. At this point, the sun's warm reflections seeped into the blue sky, shading Tsukishima's pale skin with pink and orange colors. He seemed to bask in the sun's glimmer, making him just as beautiful as ever in Yamaguchi's eyes. Tsukishima side glanced at him, aware of his apparent staring. As soon as Yamaguchi got the message, his heart fluttered and he turned away too.

You remember? But that was so long ago... How? He decided to keep that thought to himself. Then again, Tsukishima is smart, so him remembering a distant memory was nothing for him. "...Yea. I was." He said, defeated. It wasn't surprising that Tsukishima accurately knew what was on Yamaguchi's mind all the time. The blond always knew when the brunette was lying and always knew what he was feeling, even if Yamaguchi hasn't spoken a word.
