Chapter 5 - Here we are again

Draco's POV

Me and Y/N were at diagon alley, doing our now annual, school supply shopping together. I was determined to make sure nothing went wrong between us this year.

We were in the bookstore on the second floor. Some guy named Lockheart was on stage talking about his books and obsessing over himself.

"Imagine being THAT obsessed with yourself." I snickered.

"Yeah cause I don't know AnYBodY like that." She teased, causing me to laugh and roll my eyes at her. 

We were walking down the stairs when I saw them.

Potter, Granger, Weasley, and some younger redhead girl. "Must be another Weasley " I thought. Potter was just on stage with that Lockheart guy, talking about how amazing it was to meet the fAmOuS HaRrY poTtER!"

I ran down the stairs to them and Y/N followed. "I bet you loved that didn't you potter." I snickered. "Famous Harry Potter, Can't even go to a bookshop without making the front page!"

Y/N Nudged me to stop, but I didn't listen.

"Leave him alone!" The young Weasley stepped towards me.

I bursted out laughing. "Oh look Potter, You've got yourself a girlfriend!" 

"Draco, let's not be mean now." Its was my father.

Y/N'S POV:

I was mad at Draco for saying those things. But when Lucius came, I didn't want to speak anymore. Mione, Ron, Ginny, and Harry were leaving and I mouthed the word "sorry" to them. they nodded back as if saying, "we understand"

"Oh hello there miss L/N," He raised his eyebrows then looked at Draco.

My heart was beating so fast, Lucius Malfoy always scared the living daylights out of me. And worst of all, Draco wasn't supposed to be out today, AND even worse, I'm here too.

"G-good to see you Mr. Malfoy," I gulped.

He gave me a fake smile with his shiny white teeth.

"Draco, may I speak to you for a moment," He looked at me up and down in disgust,"in private.."

He nodded, then looked at me, so I walked over to the window. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I watched as Lucius scolded Draco, and Draco looking at the ground. I felt so bad, Draco was starting to turn more like his father every day, and i didn't like it. Not one bit.

Draco had grown much taller over the summer, he's now taller then me by a few inches, he looks a bit more grown, and quite handsome honestly. Lucius then proceeded to leave and I walked over to Draco.

"Everything alright?.." I asked putting my hand on his shoulder.

He sniffed and looked at me. "Y-yup. I-it's fine let's go." 

I nodded as he put his arm around me and walked out of the store.
