"yuehua entertainment, cho seungyoun!"

yeoreum gasps in amazement.

he made it... he made it... he made it! she monolouges jubilantly.

yeoreum screams the loudest as she could. body jumping in full of excitement and tears of joy running down through her cheeks, she sticks her eyes on seungyoun who is now in the middle of a group hug created by the yet-to-be-called trainees, as he receives tons of congratulatory wishes from them.

when seungyoun is about to go to the main stage where the sofa seats are located, his pupils travel through the whole crowd just to find his girlfriend.

and yes, a few seconds after that, two pairs of eyes owned by the lovebirds finally connect, sending deep endearment and warmth stare towards each other.

but, some distractions had interrupted their passionate eye-contact.

it is something that yeoreum has yet to expect it to happen, but it still occurs anyway.

and it isn't something so pleasing either.

"aren't kids of single-parent in a severe lack of attention?"

"if he commits suicide due to shock, he won't be able to sue."

"is there any possibilities that he might die due to mysterious death?"

yeoreum cannot even contain the anger inside her. everytime she tries to control herself, thickening her eardrum just to listen to those people yelling while throwing loathes at her boyfriend. she breaks down into tears even harder as she feels incredibly helpless that she cannot do anything to save seungyoun from those nonsense chatterings.

haerin, at her side, trying to calm her best friend by the shoulder, continuously rubbing yeoreum's back. vexation clears in her face expression as haerin almost loses her patience regarding the hate speeches seungyoun is receiving.

"this is madness," haerin speaks. "i can't believe they are still doing this even though seungyoun is at his peak of achievement. morons."

haerin shots a death glare at that one person who she accidentally hears his hateful yell, and that person stops everything that he is trying to do and looks at the other side of the place.

at the bottom of her heart, haerin is praying that seungyoun will go through all of this together because he has yeoreum that will never leave his side and supports him nonetheless.

and haerin also swears that if sooner when she hears a single whine coming from the crowd that is directed towards her top pick, yohan, there might no hesitation for her to face the person who does it. haerin is way more bold and braver than yeoreum though, rather than staying in silent, haerin will confront the wrong ones without any hesitation.

yeoreum barely manages to respond to anything, instead, she just shifts her gaze to the main stage where seungyoun is about to give his speech and so on.

yeoreum can tell that she is the proudest girlfriend in the world at that time, seeing the love of her life finally gets to reach the place where he is longed to be, the position where he has struggled to accomplish, the moment that he has waited for years, the recognition that he truly deserves...

but yeoreum cannot help but to think about how she doubts herself right now in how to part seungyoun away from the backlashes that he shouldn't receive. seungyoun is her other half now and she is willing to do anything that for the sake of his happiness. she wants to participate in becoming one of seungyoun's protectors, especially when she already acknowledges about the unnecessary hates aimed at him.

seungyoun, meanwhile, also begins to feel overwhelmed with the previous situation that got him distracted. of course it is disturbing, but he chooses to remain optimistic because he knows that things like this will always happen when you're at the top of mountain, which there will be people that try to drag you down.

seungyoun decides to brush it over, but the thoughts of yeoreum's hurtful countenance is running actively inside his head. he doesn't want his significant other to feel bad about the situation that he encountered as much as how his fans will as well be thinking the same.

he just wants the journey of his relationship to be beautiful and surrounded with things that only made the two of them blissful in the future.

seungyoun and yeoreum are so deeply in love to the point that they could give themselves the benefit of the doubt whether they deserved each other or not.
