I don't own hetalia unfortunately, and I don't get any profit from this except happiness.
The sun shined down on them, blurring their vision of the man that left them, left them with strangers while he went to fight in a war he would likely not win.
Now it was one thing to leave to fight, but another to leave behind his grandchildren.
It was a hard decision for him to make, but he knew he was protecting the innocent children. sending the oldest, Lovino to stay with a man called Antonio in spain, and the youngest, a boy called, Feliciano, to Austria where she would be looked after by a man and his wife, who he had yet to have learned their names.
Feliciano, being 'female', was forced to learn how to cook, clean and sew. The life he was now living was almost unknown or him, almost as if he was a maid, but he enjoyed the freedom that he had.
Whereas Lovino, felt like he was trapped with the Spaniard, in a carefree world, his parents' were dead, grandfather away at war fighting along side the other axis, and little Feliciano was a far as he knew, being treated like royalty.
Both twins, being Italian, found it hard having to learn new languages just so they could be as their grandfather said "safe".
But Lovino didn't feel safe, he would be safe if he had his brother at his side, with their grandfather, away from any wars, back home in Italy.
From the last letter he had received from Feliciano, he had leant that his brother had fallen in love with a German soldier who went by the name Ludwig, who he had met when he was going on a walk down by the beach to have a moment by himself.
