Chapter 3
The creature groaned when it saw another player entering the fight, more black tentacles started to grow from its back and quickly aimed at the girl. The creature immediately launched it attack, tentacles are darted towards her but the girl immediately countered the attack with her sword and managed to dodge some of it.
Chance didn't know what's really going on. The first logical thing he gonna do is to get away from there. The rabbit quickly stood on his feet and quickly ran away from the fight that's started to heat up. But his intention to escape immediately denied by an invisible wall that slapped his face when he tried to pass through it. "Wha? What the heck?!" He stood there confused as he keeps touching the invisible wall that won't let him through.
Seeing that he has nowhere to go, Chance quickly took the 2nd option to ran into the nearest trash bin and hid behind it while he watched the fight from afar. The catgirl seems to struggle as the time went on, her movement couldn't keep up with the faceless creature waves of attack.
"5 minutes...," the girl muttered and took one step back. 'Wait, she's counting? For what?' Chance who heard her from his hiding spot wondered while his eye keeps watching the increasing heat of the fight.
The girl waved her hand as a faint red light formed around her arm. The light rapidly condensed into a long string of lights before it launched at the tentacles and circling them. The movement was so fast that the next thing Chance saw was the tentacles already locked in place by numbers of string entangling them in place.
The girl calmly stare at the creature when she saw it wailed in rage, the struggle was clearly visible from its movement. "Alright... Been here long enough," she calmly said as she darted forward and slashed the tentacles in one go. Some managed to escape from the strings' grip. Although with another wave of hand from the cat, the strings immediately caught it back and immediately got slashed by the girl
She stopped her sword right beside the creature's neck before says her closing statement."Good night...," she slightly smiled and severed the creature head and sent it flying upward and landed right in front of Chance.
Chance which is in the middle state of panic didn't take that easily as he screamed loudly before he lost his consciousness and hit the ground.

Chance woke up and has no idea how much time has passed. He looked around and took his phone, unfortunately, the screen was black and it won't turn on. 'Ahh. I hope it just out of batteries' he hoped before he tried to stand up.
He looked around and he was alone there, not a single sign from the fight he watched was on sight and everything looks perfectly normal. For a second there he thought he was hallucinating, but the experience he saw was burned on his brain. After a while, the rabbit decides to delay his thought. What he wants currently is to go to his cousin place and nagged the heck out of him.
It wasn't that far from the alley, fortunately. He just needs to walk one block from the alley and his cousin's place was on sight, or at least that we he thought it would be since his phone is out and his memories is the only lead to his cousin's place.
He looked at the place and his doubt becomes doubled. It was a cafe, the exterior was quite fancy and resembled vintage European architecture with a huge black-framed window and red brick wall. Above the entrance, he could see the neon sign with the name of the café on it. "Sweet spices..." He said it out loud as he looked inside the café through the window to see if his cousin isn't joking.
To the surprise, there he is, cleaning the island counter and looking not worried at all. 'Does he even care that I'm late or if something happened to me?' he asked himself. He took a deep breath, holding his emotions to not slap his irresponsible cousin and walked straight in.
As the bell rings, Roderick looked at the door and said "Welcome to- Hey Chance! I'm just about to call you, you were late an hour so I was a bit worried."
"A bit? A BIT? Dude, you left someone alone in a new city and make them walked into a dark alleyway," Chance replied with anger.
"S.. sorry about that, I have something urgent so I need to left you there. Besides, I did gave you a map and those alleys are safe. I walk through there every day,"
"You know I'm almost died because of a monster? If not because some random cat girl I already skewered by tentacles," he talks back.
Soon as the wolf heard that his face changed. "You sure you're not imagining things? I bet you're tired, come here let me make you a tea," Roderick said as his hand reached back to grab a teapot.
"I'm not imagining things, I know what I saw and feel,"
"Those things can never be real. Think rationally, how did that monster look like? I'm sure it appeared on one of the movies you saw,"
"It wasn't, it was like a black mannequin, with tentacles in its back,
It doesn't have a face and it was tall,""Like... Slend*rmann?" Roderick asked which immediately made Chance think for a while.
"Wha- No it's different it didn't wear any clothes and-, " as he was explaining the monster he saw the doorbell rung again. "Hey, I'm back. You call that nuisance a class 2 spirit?," a familiar voice entered Chance's long ears as he turned to saw the girl that saved him earlier.
"YOU!" he shouted as he pointed his finger at the girl.
The girl looked confused a bit but soon she responded too. "Hmm? You?!" she was surprised and stepped back.
Roderick sighed from behind the counter as he faceplanted himself to the counter, "Oh great, what a timing."
