The call

Grace's Pov:

The call had Shawn and some dude named Haeden.

"Hey" I managed to squeak out 

"Yo wassup bitchhhh, Haedens afk" Shawn said. I expected him to sound different tbh.

"Oh okay i guess" I said kinda shy

"LOL YOU GUESS? hello what" He says

"What? All I said was I guess" I said confused

"Learn how to make a c o n v e r s a t i o n" He said rudely

"Uh, okay how's your day been then?" I said

"That's an awful conversation starter, think of something better bitch" he said in a rough tone

"Oh god this is awkward" I chuckle 

"No it's not awkward, you just need to learn how to take a JOKE" He says

I start crying cause I'm a bitch and I leave the server without hesitating, I thought he was going to be a lot nicer than he pulled off in text. I snap him though.

Grace: You were being KIND of a dick

Shawn: I wasn't, I just thought you'd be able to take a joke, I guess I was wrong

Grace: Well I wasn't aware of the kinds of jokes you guys do, plus I'm in an awful mood, sorry

Shawn: Yea its fine lol

Grace: Well, have a good night I guess

Shawn: You too

I go take a shower, and I blast my favorite song at the moment, The Fallout by Crown the Empire.

"Tonight we'll sail to the edge of the world, And watch the stars fall down, You'll put your head in my arms as we wonder..Is there anything we could have done?"

"It's such a powerful and beautiful lyric"I thought to myself. I get out of the shower, put my pj's on and go to bed.

(still Graces POV)

I wake up at 5:30 in the morning to the sound of Gold Medal Ribbon going off. I look at my notifs to see if anyone cool has texted me and of course, nobody has. I get up and look in the mirror. "Damn I look like a whole ass mess today" I say out loud. I quickly get my uniform on and do my hair and makeup. I look at the time, 6:45. Fuck I'm gonna be late. I get in my car and quickly drive to school.

My best friend Ariana greeted me in 1st period. 

"Hey girllllllllll" I say sassily

"Hey bobygorllllll" she says and winks

"Bro last night was awful, I was in a call with these two dudes and one was a major asshole, it's like he didn't want me there, but he's the one who invited me" I say sadly

"What about the other guy? He didn't say anything?" She says with a worried face

"Nah he wasn't even there so its whatever" I say, then the teacher enters and teaches something stupid about math.

The rest of the school day was pretty boring. I kind of just sat there and thought about last night. I had a really weird feeling something was going to happen, but I didn't really think about it. Shawn had messaged me some weird shit but I just ignored it. I was still upset about what happened, considering he made me talk to two complete strangers that I never spoke to. 

The final bell rang and I went to my car to drive home. I (of course) put my metalcore playlist on and vibed while going home. I eventually got home, and started playing CSGO. I got a friend request on discord and I looked to see who it was.

 I freaked out when I saw the name "Haeden". I'm pretty sure he was the guy from last night with Shawn. I hesitantly accepted, and said

"hi ?"

"hi" he quickly responds

"who r u" 

"I was on my phone when you and Shawn were arguing, he was being a dick so Idk if you wanna, but I'm extending my hand out"

"No its okay" I say trying to not be talkative, considering I didn't know this dude nor trust him

"It's really not, listen, if you want to join back, here's the link" He sent the link

"thanks, have a good day" I said and started debating on joining.

This guy Haeden seemed really nice, and he doesn't seem too bad to talk to. I joined and said fuck it because maybe he'll be cool?
