You take my mind away

Weird addiction

Jeongguk is sitting on the couch, going through his phone while Taehyung runs around each and every corner of the house taking selfies. He has broken some expensive pieces of figurines from running around and didn't even look a bit apologetic. 

"Break one more vase and I will not let you get up from this couch" Jeongguk warns him as Taehyung bumps into a shelf and the statue rattles from the impact. 

Taehyung ignores his words, running near him"Why cerberus not here? " He says shoving the phone in front of Jeongguk's face. "Cerberus isn't visible to human eye or their technology" Jeongguk says, tossing the phone on the table and Taehyung makes a high pitched noise picking up the phone and pressing it close to his chest as if Jeongguk almost murdered it. 

"You break everything you want in my house and if I do so much as toss your phone you glare at me? How is that fair? "

Taehyung huffs taking a seat near him, stroking his phone softly as if it's some living being. 

"Jeongguk not going office? " He asks ,gently caressing Cerberus who conveniently snuggles in his lap. 

"No " Jeongguk says simply, getting busy on his phone. 

"Why? " 

"I can work from home"

"Why? "

"Because I can. Because I want to. Now stop asking questions"

"Go office" 

Jeongguk looks at him, raising an eyebrow "Why are you so eager to send me to the office? "

Taehyung looks down immediately , pursing his lips but doesn't say anything. 

"Is he gone? " Someone whisper shouts and Jeongguk frowns thinking if he heard it right. He looks at Taehyung who is staring at him with wide eyes and a strained boxy smile. 

"Taehyung? " Comes the voice again, probably from the back of their couch and Jeongguk narrows his eyes as he bends down to see who is there. 

Soon someone is peeking from behind the couch ,not just someone, it's Mingyu whose eyes pop off his socket and he lets out an ear splitting scream as he looks at Jeongguk. 

"So"  Jeongguk says, inhaling deeply as he eyes the two people sitting in front of him on the couch, head hanging low. "This is what you do when I go to the office? Invite people over without my permission? "

Taehyung hangs his head even lower. " Don't pretend like you have any shame you flower growing koala! I know you have none! "

"And you" Jeongguk says glaring at Mingyu who is cowering in fear " Don't you have any schedule now? Or are you slacking off? "

Mingyu makes a whimpering sound before he subtly looks towards Taehyung " You said you would save me! " He whispers . 

Taehyung nods at him before raising his head to look at Jeongguk, giving him his best puppy eyes  and pout. 

"You little vixen"  Jeongguk says, narrowing his eyes "I knew you knew! Making all these innocent expressions to get a pass on anything." Jeongguk clicks his tongue "It isn't going to work! "

Taehyung tries a little harder before he sighs and gives up. 

"And since you can't follow what I say. I don't think you deserve a gift" Jeongguk drawls out, hands going on Taehyung's phone which lies on the cushion and Taehyung jostles up in fear grabbing Jeongguk's hand to stop him from taking the phone. 

"Taehyung not call Mingyu! " He blurts out, eyes widened and Mingyu makes the most betrayed sound from the side "LIAR! I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY FRIEND! "
