Husk and I stare out onto the water for a while, until we see small movement under the water. He grabs his long-bow from his back, and a single arrow from his quiver. He then draws his bow back, and fires into the water with one quick movement. The arrow stands, and Husk makes a happy expression. He goes to the water and pulls the arrow out of the murky lake. At the end of the arrow was a fish pierced by the sharp tip, it was still moving. Husk sets it on the ground, slowly taking the arrow out, watching it slowly suffocate. I stare at him, purely amazed, for him only to look back at me with a smirk.

As we sit there, we begin hearing footsteps, inching closer and closer. Husk stands in front of me, protecting me. It seems to be the man from the chariot, the one with the twisted knife. “We have found a place to spend the knight time.” The man stops for a moment, only to look at the fish that Husk had killed, it puts a happy expression on his face. “Well done” he says, as his voice goes heart cold, and serious. Husk takes a bow ad thanks the man. The man takes the fish, and places it into a small pouch that was attached to his waist. “Come along now.” He says to us. Husk grabs my hand and follows the man. He leads us to the town hall, where Ashe and the other man is. The village leader is waiting at the end of a long table, he looks very fierce and like a young leader, much like Ashe. He instructs me to sit next to him by a sway of his hand. I walk down to the end of the table and sit at a seat to the right of him. “So majestic.” He says while looking at me. Ashe sits next to me, and whispers something into my ear “His formal name is Tordac.” That is all he said to me before the village leader starts to touch my tattered clothing and looks at me disappointedly. “there is a change of clothing in the room we’ve prepared for you, once you clean yourself, we will begin the feast.” He says to me. Tordac seemed like a very interesting name, but it seems to suite him.

I stand up, to clean myself off, and put on a smile. The hooded man approaches me, to take my arm and leads me down a corridor. “We want to make an alliance with this village, from what we know, they know of the whereabouts of the fountain of immortality. Meaning, you have to please him.” I was confused what he meant by that. “Am I just meant to be used as a distraction?” he pauses for a second “I’ve never met a competent broad, interesting” he said this in such a rude manner. As soon as I was walking into the room, he gives me a smirk and walks away. “Hm?” I say because that simple action made me highly confused. He insults me and then smiles, should I take it as a compliment? I look around this tiny room, only to find a small formal gown on the bed. I get unclothed and start cleaning myself with cloth and water. The gown was very difficult to get on, but I somehow managed.

I walk out of the small room, and in the hallway is Ashe, he seemed to have been waiting for me. “My apologies sir Ashe!” I say to him hoping he doesn’t get angry that I took a bit of time. “Needn’t be sorry” he says to me. I extend out my hand, and he hesitantly takes it. “Are you alright sir Ashe?” he looks down at me, and his face begins to turn red. “Yes…I’m fine. It is only that, your gown fits you a bit to well.” I was confused as to what he meant by that “Can you explain?” He doesn’t answer, only grabs my hand, and leads me back to the table where the village leader Tordac is sitting. Ashe pulls out a chair next to Tordac, and i sit in it. “Exquisite.”  Tordac says to me with a tone I’ve never heard before. Ashe sits across from me, and next to me is husk. I try to look around for the others, but they seem to have went somewhere.

“I believe this to be the beginnings of our alliance” Ashe says prominently. “This alliance will grant you our fish and gold, what will we receive?” Tordac exclaimed “Let’s make a deal” As soon as Ashe says that, the town hall doors burst open. It was the man with the twisted knife, he seemed to have caught and killed a wild elk. “We could catch and make royal meals for you for the span of our stay.” Ashe says.
