"So how long have you been doing lighting?" I questioned him. He shrugged "Since freshman year." "Cool so have I. Since I'm the head lighting director I'll ask Ms. Aphrodite if I can show you around."

He nodded his head and continued dragging his feat. "I saw that you know Jason. He's pretty nice. He's in the musical. He is a big romantic." I remember seeing Jason when Luke and Thalia got together.

All you could hear him yelling was I ship it. The two didn't want everyone to know. But Jason being Jason told everyone. But instead of telling a friend who would tell another friend. He ran down the hall screaming it.

I wonder what Nico's type is. I doubt I am cause I'm straight as a rainbow. I mean Nico's got a cute emo vibe going. I've been told I'm a ray of sunshine.

We aren't the most typical friends. But I wanted to be friends. When I want something I get something. So he will be seeing a lot more of me. We finally reached the theatre.

"Ms. Aphrodite, I was wondering if I could show Nico around? He's new and part of the lighting crew." She looked at me with her ever changing eyes and smiled.

"Of course. Just hurry back I have an announcement to make at the end of the period." I nodded and walked off. Nico followed behind me.

"So this is the tech booth. Sometimes you might have to do that also cause we are always short on hands." He nodded "So Will, do you play any instruments?" Is he actually talking to me. And not me just talking. "I play the violin."

I finished the tour and made my way back to the stage. Jason was singing his diet with the infamous Drew. No one liked her. You could see that he didn't want to be up their with her. Everyone knew he would rather be up their with Drew's under study Piper.

"Thank you that's enough. Now if you can all take your seats. I have an announcement to make. The musical has been cancelled. We are just doing a winter concert." Everyone looked disappointed. But Jason looked happy he wouldn't have to sing with Drew.

"We will have auditions for solos. Now class dismissed." As she said that the bell rang. Nico rushed out. I sighed but made my way over to Jason.

"You happy you don't have to sing with Drew?" I asked him as I sat down. He nodded with a smile. "I think I'm gonna try and audition for a solo. Hopefully their are duets and I can sing with Piper."

We walked out of the room and met up with Percy, Frank, Leo, and Luke. Luke was a surprise knowing he's usually with Thalia. "Hey Luke surprised to see you aren't with my sister." Luke rolled his eyes.

"If you ain't treating her right were going to have to talk. I may be younger than her but-" Luke laughed. "Don't worry she's with her friends. And I wouldn't dream of hurting her."

"How I love this sappy romance, I need to go the cars in the shop aren't going to fix themselves." Leo turned and walked away.

"Or does your girlfriend need you." Frank shouted leo flipped him off. We laughed at the typical Leo and Frank.

"Hey mom I'm home!" I shouted. She poked her head out of the kitchen. "Hey honey how was your day?" She questioned. "Good, theirs a new kid from California and he seems nice." My mom smirked "Is that all?" I was genuinely confused. "Yeah." She chuckled "Well from the blush on your cheeks you may think he's cute." I groaned. "Mom!" I exclaimed.

She just laughed and walked away. I rolled my eyes and started my homework. My mom luckily excepted me for who I was.

It wasn't one of those cheesy stories where the parent is homophobic and the kid is gay. She excepted me.

Now what the fuck is math. This problem asked what X was. Their was no f-ing numbers.

I closed the book and gave up. I then got a text.

All the guys are meeting at Jason's if you want to come.

I got up and yelled "I'm going over to jason's." "Ok". With that I left. I started my car and headed to jason's. I sung along to panic! at the disco. I finally arrived and nocked on the door. Jason opened the door.

"Hey Will come on up everyone's already here." I nodded and followed him.

We passed Thalia room. I could tell cause I could hear music blasting. "Continue to my room I need to deal with Thalia." I let out a little laugh and went to his room.

I walked inside. They all greeted me. BANG. BANG. We all had assumptions of what happened. Thalias music went louder so we knew Thalia won that round.

Jason came up and did not look happy. We all burst into laughter except him. He just grumbled something and said "I'm going to get a snack if you want one come on."

I went down with him I was hungry. When we went down their was a knock on the door Thalia yelled I'll get it. Jason smirked and ran for the door beating Thalia.

He opened it. "Hey Luke sorry thalia's not here." With that he slammed the front door in his face.

"Jason I will kill you." He snickered. She ran to the front door and through it open. "Hey sorry for Jason." He just chuckled "It's alright."

"Come on." She told Luke. "Keep the door open you two!" Jason called. Thalia flipped him off. He laughed lightly. "Oh thals and Luke sittin in a tree. K-i-s-s-i-" "I will kill you Persus Jackson!"

That made me and Jason laugh. We heard a thud and that made us laugh harder.

Percy let out a girly scream and by that time we were rolling on the floor with laughter. We heard more laughs. Apparently everyone was getting entertainment out of this.

Thalia finally stopped and grabbed Luke's hand and led him into her bedroom and slammed the door closed. Me and Jason grabbed the chips and headed back upstairs.

The guys were making fun of Percy who had a new bruise. So Frank how have things with hazel been going?" Percy asked to get the attention off himself. Frank blushed and shrugged "I've really only talked to her once." His blush deepened. But before Percy could ask anymore questions Frank beat him to it.

"How's Annabeth?" Frank asked with a smirk. It was Percy's turn to blush. "Uhhh I'm uhhh I don't know." Was all he could say. He was trying to get Annabeth to notice him since freshman year. His face would make a tomato jealous.

"Jason I'm home please help me with the groceries and tell your sister to help to." His mom called. "You guys are helping me." He said bluntly.

We all nodded and followed him down stairs. He stopped at thalia's door and with out knocking opens the door. Thalia and Luke were making out on her bed they must've not heard the door open.

But they did hear leo "Ooooooooo!" They jumped apart. We were trying to contain out laughter. Thalia jumped up and was about to attack when "Thalia if you and Luke are going to be in your room keep the door open. Now all of you come down and help me."

We all ran down and helped her. Thalia's and Luke's faces were still scarlet. After helping Jason's mom we all had to leave.

After I got home my mom said she was going out I didn't question it. I went up stairs and tried to finish my homework. Note the word tried.

I heard the front door open. "Will can you please come down for a second." I went down but stopped at the bottom of the stairs when I saw my mom holding hands with some guy.

My mouth probably hit the floor. She looks at me. "Will I would like you to meet my fiance Chris." Did she just say FIANCE. I didn't know what to do.

But then I smiled. The look in my mother's eyes was genuinely happy. I couldn't help but be happy. My mom's happiness was always contagious.

I looked at Chris. He smiled at me and I smiled back. At that moment I forgot about my homework and got to know Chris. He seemed like a nice guy.

After that I went to bed with a smile on my face but my mind kept drifting to one individual and no matter how hard I tried it kept going to Nico Di Angelo.
