Thursday

I put the finishing touches on my makeup. I knew I wouldn't cry today. I shouldn't cry. My dad never cared for me anyhow.

I was wearing a black turtleneck, dark pants, a dark blue coat, and black shoes. At this point, I could see my small bump, it was very small, but it was there. I smiled and put my hands on my stomach.

I walked to my closet and opened the door. I plucked a black purse with diamonds encrusted on it. It was one of my most prized possessions. I walked out of the closet and shut off the light and closed the door.

I grabbed my phone, lipstick, and other small things I might need and put them in my purse.

I walked downstairs and seen Jimin at the bottom of the staircase.

"Ready?" he asked.

I nodded and we linked arms and walked out to his car.

When we arrived I seen all of the boys waiting at the entrance. I smiled and ran to the front. I hugged all of them.

"Thank you guys for coming, it means so much to me."

We all went inside together. It felt good to have a small family standing by me always. My own little gang. I knew I could always count on these guys.

We took seats at the front and waited for the funeral to start. My dad's "girlfriend" took to the small stage and began speaking.

She asked me to come up to the stage for a speech. God, I didn't want to, but he was my father after all.

"Good morning, everyone. It's a shame that someone so caring has passed. My dad hasn't always been the best man. You may remember him as the best person. To me, he wasn't. I spent most of my years wondering when he would change. I never had the best relationship with him. He left me our company a few years back and I'm grateful for that. It'll be weird not to have him around anymore. Now being pregnant, he won't be able to see his grandchild and that hurts. Well, that's really all I can say. Have an amazing rest of your day."

I walked off the stage and ran to Jimin. I sat next to him and rested my head on his shoulder. My dad's girlfriend finished her speech and the funeral was over.

I walked out of the venue and made a 'hmph' noise and sat on a bench. The boys followed me out and sat next to me, some on the ground.

"Thank you guys for everything. You guys mean so much to me. I couldn't picture a better family."

"GROUP HUG!" Jin shouted and we all gathered together and squeezed each other tight.

We all drove to my house for dinner after the funeral.

"There's wine downstairs and beer in the fridge," I said as I shuffled to the living room and kicked off my shoes and took off my jacket.

Not too long after, everyone was in the kitchen laughing and helping make dinner. I sat at the counter and watched since no one would let me help since I'm pregnant. I'm not dying for god's sake.

I went to the living room and flicked on the fireplace. I shuffled back to the kitchen with my slippers on.

"Hey y/n, we were thinking of just crashing here for the night, is that alright?" Hoseok asked.

I shook my head and they all cheered. I giggled and sat back down at the counter.

We all ate and I showed them the guest rooms.

We all went to bed peacefully there after.

3 months later

At this point I was showing. It was March and spring was approaching. My belly was getting bigger everyday it felt like. Today, Jimin and I were going to the doctor to find out the gender of the baby. We were both excited. I wanted a boy and Jimin wanted a little princess.

The press were all over us the past few months. People were happy for us and I was glad. We would have people walk up to us and ask us questions.

Jimin and the boys have been helping me for the few months that have gone by which I'm grateful for.

Jimin and I got ready and headed to the appointment. Jimin and I walked out to the garage and we decided to take the iconic matte black car. I loved that car.

We drove to the doctor's office and waited in the waiting room. It wasn't any old doctor's office. It was a private one so that we could have our privacy, of course.

"Mr and Mrs Park?" one of the nurses called.

We both stood up and walked in a big room. The room has the machines for ultrasounds and a bed to lay on for the patients. The room house furniture like couches and chairs for other people to sit on while waiting. It was pretty cute if you ask me. It didn't look like a doctor's office to be honest.

"Alright, we're going to take a look today at the baby, and would you guys like to know up the gender today as well?" the doctor asked, taking a seat on a stool.

We both nodded quickly and smiled at each other.

"Of course, let's get to work," said the doctor.

The doctor smeared the cold gel on my stomach and took the wand and put it over my belly.

"If you see here," she pointed at the screen, "you can see the baby. Their hands, feet, head, and the rest of their body."

Jimin and I took a second to count each toe and and each finger, counting all 10, "10!"

We smiled at looked back to the monitor.

"Okay, I'll be right back," the doctor said.

The doctor walked out of the room.

"What do you think it is Jimin?" I asked him, looking at him.

"I think it's a girl."

The doctor came back in and sat at the stool once again.

"Okay, we know the gender. It's a-"
