The Appointment (2)

This chapter is probably a load of BS just cause I have no clue how ultrasounds work, and I did research for the first time not sure how accurate it is though (I only did research on what the wand thingy was called) a lot of my knowledge comes from other Wattpad I read 😛. Soooooo, enjoy!!

Your POV-

Our names were called, my stomach does a flip. I grab Sean's hand and a stand up. The nurse greets us and walks us towards the room.

"Hi, my name is Doctor Diana Smithinson (wtf am I thinking 😂). And I will be performing your ultrasound today!" The doc enthusiastically informs, "lay down on the bed (idk what it's called) and pull up your shirt for me please."

I lay down on the bed and pull up my shirt exposing my belly, once I do so I grab Sean's hand again and he gives it a slight squeeze.

"This is gonna a little cold." She says putting the gel on my belly, making me slightly jump. Sean chuckles and I do to. The doc moves the wand over my belly, and gasps.

I panic, squeezing Sean's hand, "Is everything alright? What's wrong?" I say panicked.

"My apologies I overreacted!" The doc says, me and Sean still confused. Until she says a sentence I thought I'd never hear.

Sean's POV-

"Your having twins!!"

Me and Y/n gasp, we look at each other smiling.

"We're having twins!" Y/n exclaim.

"I know!" I say back.

The doc moves the wand again, saying, "Heres baby number 1's heartbeat!"

Y/n starts tearing up, and so do I. I give her hand a firm, but gentle squeeze.

"And now here's baby number 2's heartbeat." The doc says.

At the sound of baby 2's heartbeat. Tears stream down my face. Not sad tears, happy and joyful tears. That's when it's really sinks in.

"I'm gonna be a dad."

Soooooo uhhhhh, how y'all doing?? I'm doing mighty fine if y'all ask meh, sorry for dah shorter chapter. But as always, I hope you enjoyed this chapter!!
