Hyukjae sighed as he opened the door to the dorm in the late evening, dumping his bag onto the floor in the hallway. He walked into the living room and threw himself onto the couch. He closed his eyes for a short while, until he heard someone enter the room.
Opening his eyes he saw Donghae who was smiling at him softly but looking a bit lost. Hyukjae stretched his arms out to him, voice gentle as he asked "Do you want to cuddle ?"
A smile spread on the youngers face as he nodded and slipped onto the sofa next to Hyukjae, their warm bodies pressed against one another. Hyukjae wrapped his arms around Donghae.
The younger one smiled happily, resting his head against Hyukjaes chest for a while before speaking up:"Hyukjae?"
"Yeah?"
"I've been thinking about some stuff lately...I've been thinking about us"
Hyukjae listened to his friend, arms still wrapped around his waist.
"And what about us?" the older asked calmly.
Donghae looked up at him fot a bit, before trying to hide his face again, however Hyukjae stopped him by placing his hand on his chin, gently forcing him to look at him.
"What about us" he repeated.
Donghae avoided the others soft, yet piercing gaze, looking to the side instead.
"I don't think that this is what I want us to be" Donghae replied, his voice merely a whisper.
"Then what do you want us to be ?" Hyukjae daringly asked.
The younger gulped, looking into the others eyes, forgetting all his dounts for a moment. "More...I want us to be more" he murmured, breath hitching when Hyukjaes thumb grazed his lips, before the older pulled him into a longing kiss. Donghaes eyes widened, his whole body tensing up before he relaxed and let himself melt into the kiss.
They separated, both unable to express any words.
After a while Hyukjae finally spoke up, gazing into the youngers eyes "I want us to be more too."
Donghae looked at him with big doey eyes. He softly put his hand onto Hyujaes cheek and then murmured: "I think...I love you."
The older one giggled and placed another kiss on Donghaes lips, before replying: "I love you too, Hae"
