Prologue

" if I can recall.......it was the last day we ever saw each other...of course you know that...."

Huddle around a small campfire out in the vast wilderness of Anima, which some would say in the middle of absolutely no where: RNJR alongside Qrow, sat upon the dirt ground around the fire, while a male who had to be around his early twenties sat with them, starring into the flames with his saddened look of despair. It was a chilled Summer night for the group, Ruby placed her hand into the male's, intertwining their fingers as she starred at him " It's ok Strider.....just take a deep breath....we won't rush you..."she told the male known as Strider; taking that deep breath he mustered up the strength to tell his story to them of that had happen "........It was that day......" he spoke as if he were choking of his held back tears, Jaune having his hands clasped together, brought his head on atop of his hands hunching over as he knew what Strider wanted to say " Please don't say just......save me the torture " Jaune silently wept while Rin put a hand on his shoulder. Strider following the request of JNPR's leader skipped to the point " The day of the fall.......Robert........Jaden........Neo " tears began to roll down his cheek " If only I just let her go a moment sooner......she wouldn't have had to suffer that loss......" Strider looked at the star riddled sky, searching for peace among the sky "......Strider.....What.Happen."Qrow was getting agitated with the man. " Rob.....Murdered Roman.......and.........my brother....." everyone starred at Strider with eyes of not just fright, but also the shock. What they heard was unbelievable, preposterous, something they couldn't imagine. The rest of the night was left within silence: most of the group opted to sleep if they could, while Strider stood by a nearby lake to clear his mind. It wasn't long before he felt a vibration within his left pocket: His vibrating scroll in hand, starring at the caller ID.............

Sarah Hydrus

Hesitation sinking in, he slowly answered the call, inhaling softly:

" Sarah....."

" Stri.....it's great to hear your voice again...it's been too long "

" Yeah..."

" ...Strider....I heard what happen at Beacon, everyone at home did....they send they're best hopes, and blessings.."

".....Why are you calling Sarah...."

" Straight to the point it is then.....you need to come home Strider....there's something you need to know...the world needs to know...you know what you are....and you know you've been killing people just like you....your friends don't know that the same beast you've all been fighting...there was one beside them all along..."
