My life

Hi, my name is Violet. Strange name I know, my parents are weird people well my mum is. My dad? not so much. He has always been the run of the mill man, with a big difference. He beats me, every day as a matter of fact. He hates me... a lot.
You would think, by now, he would have left us but he feeds off my mother's love. He has a job, but it doesn't pay very well so he won't leave plus he loves my mum which makes things a little easier.
I'm the type of person who is happy being in my own company, so when I try to tell my mum about him she just jokes about me being out my 'cave' which pisses me off. So I don't tell her, besides I don't think she would leave that grinch of a man any time soon.
I'm going off to uni next year to study music.Its my escape from, well...life.
If some one asked me what music I'm into, they would run away... far away. That sounds odd but I don't blame them, my inspiration is Marilyn Manson so yeah.
Most people cant decide what band they like more, I can, black veil brides. They keep me going each day, reminding me I will be at uni in only three months.
I think that's about it, wait! One more thing I have a boyfriend. It sounds all fun and dandy, but it's not, he is a big idiot. But I can't find it in me to dump him. I guess I'm scared of being alone.
