⇲ No, Just No, I Don't Wanna Do It
Your silhouette can be seen sitting on the rooftop at the top of the UA High School building. Legs dangling off the edge. You peered down at the incoming sea of students entering the facility, less and less coming through the gates as time went on and started to make their way inside the doors of the school of their dreams.
Once you saw that the last student had entered the building, you stretched out your limbs and stood up. The surrounding air picked up a bit, letting the cool spring breeze hit your face and lightly ruffle your hair. You took one last look at the surroundings of the roof of the 14-story building before breathing in a breath of respite.
And then you jumped off.
About a third of the way through the free fall, a necklace with a feather-like pendant adorned your neck appeared from seemingly nowhere and started to glow faintly. From your back, out came a large pair of white feathered wings.
Maneuvering yourself upright and opening your wings, you slowed your descent to the ground with the air resistance. You landed softly on your feet with the gentle fluttering of your wings, disturbing the nearby shrubbery.
You turned towards the huge, glistening building behind you and started to walk towards its three double doors, one for each year. Displacing the feathers on your back as they scattered with the wind before disappearing along with the necklace that hung on your neck. It was as if they never existed at all.
You entered the building and went off in the direction of the auditorium where Present Mic would be introducing the junior-high teens to the physical portion of their entrance exam. You could already hear Present Mic's booming voice through the walls of the school just as you turned to the hallway that led to the auditorium.
'They should've made these walls more Hizashi soundproof.'
"Welcome one and all to my live show! Everybody say heeeey!" You heard Present Mic start as you stood near the doors to the auditorium. The silence in response was quite the contrast to Mic's voice.
"What a refined response... All right, examinees, I'm gonna give you the low-down on how this'll go down! Are you ready?!" You heard Present Mic attempt to hype up the tough crowd of teens again. Predicting that they wouldn't respond seeing his previous attempt, you busted through a set of doors entering the auditorium, garnering the attention of everyone in the large room.
"YEAHH!" you screamed at the top of your lungs along with Present Mic. This was the third year in a row that both of you had pulled off this stunt.
Everyone stared at the sudden and loud intrusion of the girl walking down the set of steps leading toward the stage. Their reactions never fail to amuse the two as they recall the similar faces the previous test-takers had whilst pulling the same stunt.
Finally, you made your way onto the stage; you sit down at the top steps near the podium Mic is presenting from. "Oh! Y/n! Nice of you to finally join us!" You turned to face the pro-hero, proceeding to give him a small cheeky grin in response, then turned back to face the sea of teens.
"Sorry for the disturbance." You say and send a small smile and bow their way.
"Anyway, Mic, continue the presentation." You directed your attention to Present Mic as he started to continue the presentation.
"This is how the practical portions of the test will go! You'll be experiencing ten-minute-long 'mock cityscape maneuvers'!!" He started as the screen behind him showed where the auditorium is currently located and the different city battle centers.
