The creature

The creature dug it's claws into the wall, and made a small screaching sound. It slowly backed away as Luna got nearby. Was it scared?
Luna quickly reached for her backpack, which conveniently telepored with her. She remembered putting a sandwich in there, in case it took her dad long to find her, but it could work as a piece offering. The creature looked at the sandwich, and sniffed. It slowly got nearby, and eventually put the entire thing in it's mouth. "Ah, there we go..." Luna carefully placed her hand on the creature's soft mane. It closed it's eyes and drooled a bit. It was big, it could eat Luna if it wanted to. "I should leave..." before she could get up, the wolf-like creature fell asleep on her lap. But Luna didn't mind. It was actually pretty nice. Like hugging a giant, fluffy cloud. "Well, now I know what to ask for my birthday," she whispered, while slowly falling asleep as well.

"Luna?"
Mark ran through the forest and panted. He wasn't used to walking for such a long time, and especially not that fast. He stopped to call her one more time, while holding his phone with a shaking hand.
No answer.
Mark never thought it would be possible for Luna to use her powers. But, well, then it actually happened. And the worst part was, he couldn't tell her about any of this. Twigs scratched Mark's face, and got stuck in his hair. But that didn't matter. His daughter had been sleeping outside in the rain again. Maybe she cought a cold, or freezed to death...
"Oh, hi dad," Luna said softly.
There she was, still alive, still well.. Mark's face shifted from his daughter's face to something hairy, that was lying on her lap. It moved a little, like it was breathing. Mark took a step backwards. "Get away from that thing!" he said a little too loudly. "I know these kind of creatures. They're very dangerous." "They also really like sandwiches apparently," Luna said jokingly. The monster opened it's eyes. It quickly got up after seeing Mark agressively waving his hands at him, and ran into the bushes. "What? Why did you scare it away?" Luna stuck her head into the bushes, but it was already gone. "Because it's dangerous." Mark reached out for Luna's hand. "I don't want to lose you..." he wanted to add the word "too" to that sentence, but didn't. "Let's go home." Luna nodded, and quickly hugged her father. They both walked home, not knowing something- or someone was following them.
