It was about noon when I had finished taking a shower. I was currently in the bathroom looking for a towel in the small cupboards underneath the sink. I opened the second cupboard to find it empty.
"Dammit." I cursed out loud, standing back up. My exposed body was dripping wet and shivering from the cool air coming in from the air vent above the door.
I walked over to the bathroom door and cracked it open, only wide enough for me to stick my head out while hiding my body behind the door.
"HEY! CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A TOWEL PLEASE!" I yelled out. I heard a few groans coming from my parents and heard shuffling. I smiled. "THANKS!" I yelled out before pulling my head back and closing the door.
After a few minutes I heard a small knock on the door and I cracked the door, stuck my head through the little space and hid my body. When I looked up and extended my hand to get the towel I froze.
"Uh.. here." Wyatt said, thrusting the towel forward. I felt my face heat up as he looked down at me. I slowly grabbed the towel and felt a water droplet bounce off my damp raven hair and land onto the bridge of my freckled nose.
I wrapped myself in the towel, the same way a female would because my waist was too small to wrap the towel around. Once I had the towel on I slowly opened the door more and surprisingly Wyatt was still there in my way.
I looked up at him with furrowed brows. He just stared down at my small figure, I couldn't read the look in his eyes but it made me feel weird. After a moment of just standing there, Wyatt cleared his throat and stepped out of the way.
"Sorry, I just zoned out thinking about something for a minute there." He chuckled. Oh so that's what that was.. am I disappointed? The fuck? My brain is fucked up.
I nod my head and walk to my room, closing the door behind me. Once I closed the door I began to dry myself off. The majority of my body was already dry do to standing underneath the air vent but I rubbed myself with the towel anyways.
I walked over to my closet to find something to wear. What do I wear? I mean, besides Wyatt I've never had anyone over. Not a girl. Should I just wear what I usually do? I should. I will. Okay.
I grabbed a pair of ripped, black skinny jeans and a dark grey t shirt with a rotten skull on it. Good enough. I got dressed and slipped on my leather bracelets and my socks.
Once I was dressed, I walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth quickly, blow dried my hair and washed my face. Once all that was done, I looked over to the side where Wyatt's cologne sat.
For some odd reason I felt the urge to wear the cologne. And not to impress Iris.. okay, the fuck is up with my thoughts recently? I need my brain to just chill.
I reached over, grabbing the cologne and spraying some onto my chest. The smell was captivating to say the least. Out of nowhere I felt giddy as I went back to my room to get my phone. I checked the time.
Iris should be here in about thirty minutes or so. I feel pretty hungry so I decided to go make something to eat before she arrives. My dad had went to work about ten minutes ago so it was just my mom and Wyatt here with me.
I headed into the kitchen and saw my mom making coffee. She didn't even acknowledge my presence as I walked by her. As I went to the fridge I felt air hit my neck as someone walked past me. Then stop. And stand right. Behind. Me.
"Is that my cologne?" Wyatt asked, his breath hitting the back of my neck. I froze as I felt my face and neck heat up. After a few seconds I nodded. "Yeah." I said slowly. I felt Wyatt shift behind me and it was almost as if he was closer to me, even just a little bit closer.
