It seemed like a normal sunny day in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The sun blazed on the small town. But, there were rumors about this town. Not the ones that make you want to come to this town. Which is why their population is under 1,000 citizens, and the number keeps getting smaller and smaller.
The humans didn't know about the beast's that come out every full moon. It's a real pain. Breaking every bone in your body every month, but it doens't get better every time. Actually, l think it gets worse. Take it from me, a small delicate girl who's been threw the full moon for 6 years.
I hate being a werewolf, just because of the pain. And being in a pack. Not that they like me or anything, it's the opposite. They hate me, and abuse me almost every day, and l always have a bruise.
Right now, l have a really big cut that's from my right shoulder, down to my left hip. They gave it to me yesterday, by using a knife dipped in wolf-bane, so it wouldn't heal fast. Why? Because, apparently, there were 'bored'. It still hurts like a bitch, and it's bleeding tons. This morning, l fainted because of blood loss, but l lived through it, sadly.
But, l can never show anyone my injuries, because they won't even believe me, and they heal and don't leave off a scar. But, the humans, would think I'm some suicidal bitch. Even though I'm the most quiet girl in this small town, but l have a lot of thoughts that l could never speak. Because l would get beat for it. No one has my back, and I've never had a friend. It gets lonely, only having a father who hates you, and a pack who would rather you die instead of them. I thought packs and family were supposed to love each other. Boy, l was so wrong.
Everyone in the pack is on high alert. It's been a few weeks since the Sun and Moon Curse has been broken by the Original, Klaus Mikaelson. But there was still no sign of him anywhere. Rumor has it, one pack in the mountains died because they didn't want to complete the transition. The ones who are loyal to their inner wolf.
"Savannah!! Go get water from the river, bitch!!" My father yelled from outside the cottage were living at currently. We live in the woods, in the middle of nowhere.
"Yes, father" I said, quietly, knowing he would hear me. l finished tieing my white converse on, and headed to the woods, with my head down, trying my best to ignore the disgusted looks l got from everyone else. l was wearing a white nirvana shirt, with a red flannel over it, so it covered the blood, and ripped shorts. I had a small minimum amount of make up on (mascara and natural colored lip stick), and my hair in a messy ponytail.
I kept walking in the direction of the river, when l heard an unknown chuckle.
Klaus' Pov:
"Are you sure there's a pack of wolves here?" Asked an annoyed and irritated Stefan. I signed deeply, trying my best not to rip his throat out, "I'm sure. I had a witch do a locator spell on all the werewolves in America" I answered, not sparing him a glance.
"And this is the right place? Chapel Hill, North Carolina?" Stefan asked, again, irritated. I stopped walking, and gave him a death glare, "Yes, Stefan. I'm sure there's a pack of wolves here. I can already smell them" I snarled, and kept walking.
I heard Stefan mumble some colorful words, but kept quiet.
We kept walking for about 5 minutes, when l saw a glimpse of light brown hair, and then a girl. l motioned to Stefan, and he rolled his eyes at the proof l had.
I chuckled, which seemed to startle the girl, and snapped her head over to us. She was only a few feet away from us, which seemed to scare her because her heart beat started to rise.
"Who are you?" Her voice was so unexpected. I didn't expect a wolf to have such a gentle voice. But she did. Her voice was soft, and gentle, but l can sense some fear in it too.
