Sandino Ramirez is a half Puerto Rican, half Cuban guy, and Ricki’s neighbor. A young soccer player moving to Arizona from Santiago, Cuba. He struggles with being so far from home. As well as, trying to not lose his nerve. In exchange of coming to America, Sandino’s uncle, Roberto, has Sandino work in his restaurant. Sandino wishes to be a professional soccer player.
Isaiah Valdes, Ricki’s older brother, plans on being a professional soccer player, as well. Isaiah is the only one who knows about Ricki’s secret, that she is keeping from the family. He’s a fun and loving brother. He may be a class clown, but he will not hesitate to whoop some ass. Ricki’s protective older brother, also teaches a martial arts class.
