Jisoo walked along the streets of Seoul, happy to be back in the country that she loves despite knowing all its dirty secrets. There wasn't enough time for her to reminisce about the old days, when her and the girls just went on simple missions, but instead she walked right up to the information desk at JYP Enterprises.
"I'm here to see Mr. Park," Jisoo stated. The girl at the desk looked suspicious as she took in Jisoo's appearance. She was dressed in a black pencil skirt with a matching blazer, her red hair is now covered by a blond wig, and for extra measures she's wearing a mask to cover her mouth. To anyone she looked like a business associate suffering from a cold.
"Is he expecting you?" The lady asked at the desk, scoffing at Jisoo's appearance, thinking she's just another one of those girls who wants to bag the big boss.
"No, this is a surprise actually. I'm his sister, and I just flew in from the states. I missed his birthday due to my kids being sick, but that was a whole different ordeal. But they are better now, so I took the opportunity to get away!" Jisoo said enthusiastically. She's learned through her training that the more information about yourself that you offer up, the more people will relate to you and a trust is immediately formed.
"Okay, let me just call him!" The lady at the desk said, suddenly perking up.
"Oh, do you mind if I surprise him? I told him this morning i would be running errands all day back home, so he wouldn't expect a visit. So do you mind if I sneak up there, of course if he's not in a meeting or anything?" Jisoo said holding her hands together.
"Let me check his schedule, and it looks like he actually just got back from one. So you should be good. It's on the top floor and you'll see his assistant sitting up there. I'll give her a call and let her know your on your way up!" She said, letting Jisoo pass through the guards.
Jisoo walked towards the elevators while keeping her head low, and pressed the button for the highest floor. Once she got off, the assistant waved her over and ushered her into forward.
"He hasn't made it back yet, but make yourself comfortable in there." The bright assistant said to her.
Jisoo muttered a quick "thank you," and made her way into the big office.
"Not too bad," she said to herself as she gazed out the giant window he had behind his desk. He has the entire city scape behind him, just the perfect view to match this swanky office.
Jisoo made herself comfortable in his desk chair and propped her feet on his desk. While she waited she texted Jennie an update.
"Welcome back sir! I put the legal documents for the next project on your desk sir. They just need to be signed by you and then I'll send them back to the courthouse to be finalized," Jisoo heard his assistant outside his door speaking to the man she came to see. A few seconds later the door opens, and the man walks in looking at the papers. It takes him a few minutes to look up but once he does he can't believe his eyes.
"Kim Jisoo?"
"Yo Park Jinyoung! Do you not recognize your favorite person!" Jisoo said standing up with a smile, going to hug someone very special to her.
"I've missed you, Jisoo hyung," Jinyoung said as he rested his head on top of the girls head.
Jinyoung was Jisoo's brothers best friend. They have known each other for their whole lives. When Jisoo was sold, her parents told everyone she ran away. So when she was never found everyone assumed the worst, and thought she was dead. Jinyoung couldn't take another person leaving his life so during the years that she was gone, he got into some bad stuff. But seeing her again, gave him a new perspective.
