Chapter 4: Many forms had been given to Louis to fill out, asking about Harry's birthday, address, phone number, people who they should contact; Louis knew none of these things except his first name. He kept apologizing to the nurse for it, she seemed frustrated but assured him it was alright. Harry on the other hand was in surgery, they'd gotten the knife out but the bleeding was nonstop. Eventually they stopped the bleeding and continued on with the surgery. After many hours of Louis getting updates in the waiting room, a doctor came out and sat next to him, "You're here for Harry, correct?" "yes, that's me." "Alright, Harry is stable, still under anesthesia but he's going to be fine. We got the knife out of his leg but it went through and cracked his thigh bone. He's got a cast on his leg thats going to be on there for close to 2 months, or until his thigh bone is healed. And he's going to need to stay in the hospital for 3 days for observation. After that, he's going to need a lot of bed rest, nearly no walking, and lots of sleep." Louis nods but his mind is racing, Harry not walking? Harry needing bed rest? Harry doesn't have a bed, and walking is his whole life. "Alright... When can I see him?" The doctor glances at the clock before looking back at Louis, "He should be waking up any time now, you can go in and sit with him until he does." Louis nods again, "Thank you doctor...?" "Dr, Green" the man smiles warmly as they both stand up, "I'll show you where his room is." Dr. Green says as they begin walking down the bright white hallways of the hospital, the smell of medicine stinging Louis' nose. The doctor stops in front of room 225, "here's his room, he should be awake any time now." Dr green smiles, "Thanks Dr Green" "Anytime" he walks away as Louis opens the door to the room, Harry is lying on the bed in the center of the room. It seems they'd cleaned him up quite a bit, his before dirty curls lying in a halo around his clean face. Louis had to admit, Harry was quite beautiful. One of the most attractive people Louis had ever seen, the way all his features fit on his face, his curls flawlessly laying in a ring around his head. Obviously nothing was going to happen there, he was just a homeless man, after all. Louis sighs and sits down on the uncomfortable chair next to the bed, watching his chest rise and fall. He could tell Harry had quite a story, Louis wasn't sure whether he wanted to know it or not. A few minutes passed before Harry's eyes fluttered open, "Where am I?" He asked groggily, "You're at the hospital, Harry." Louis replies softly. Harry looks over at him, "oh yeah, you're that prick who got me stabbed in the leg." "I'm really sorry about that...my name is actually Louis by the way." Harry laughs a little, "Posh name..." Then he looks down at his leg, "Shit, is that a cast?" Louis sighs, "yeah, the doctor said you're going to need to stay in the going to need to stay in the hospital for observation for three days and then you're going to have the cast on for two months. You're going to need lots of bed rest and nearly no walking." Harry laughs a little, "That's not going to happen...I don't even have a bed, and I can't NOT walk. What the fuck else am I supposed to do?" Louis sighs deeply, making up his mind. "Harry, to repay my debt to you, which is my life; you can stay in my guest bedroom until your leg has healed." Harry laughs as if Louis has just told the funniest joke ever, "You're joking right!? ME staying in a posh palace? I don't think so buddy." Louis rolls his eyes, he knew it was going to be another fight. "You can't stay on the streets with a cast. If you continue to use your leg, it's a possibility that you'll never walk again. Harry's eyes widen but then it turns into a glare, "Fine. I'll stay with you in your fancy flat but only until my leg is healed, then I'm out of there." "Fine with me." Louis says, satisfied he'd won.
