Tetsurou Kuroo x Reader: Powercouple.

You were another manager for Nekoma's boys volleyball team. You also happened to be very close with the guys on the team. Tetsurou Kuroo, your boyfriend and you were and ultimate power couple.

Everyone knew of your relationship, at least half of the people in the school did too. It sort of sucked, some of the boys on the team thought you were quite charming and cute. Too bad for them, Kuroo had you, not them. It was like a dream come true, you got to spend lots of time being with your boyfriend and supporting him. Whenever he had a tournament, you were always going to be there.

However, as of late, Kuroo had gotten extremely busy with school, hanging out with the guys (since he spent most of his time with you, he was trying to balance it out more) and overall not spending quality couple time together. It made you sad, of course. Nonetheless being the supportive girlfriend you are, you understood him.

After school practice had just started. You had started to walk to the gym a bit late. You were never late, while walking over to the gym you received a text from Kenma.

Kenma to Y/N:

You're coming right? You're never really late. Lev is freaking out, please come.

Y/N to Kenma:

Yeah, sorry! I got held back by a teacher. T_T

You quickly responded saying you were coming, you got caught up with talking to a teacher after your last class, that teacher wouldn't ever stop talking. The weather outside was sunny, living in Tokyo was pleasant. The city was something you always loved, there was so much to do. Hard to ever really be bored, you and Tetsurou always went on dates in the city. Such as shopping, arcades, movies, art galleries or museums, most importantly the cute cafès.

It was nothing to overthink, you were never late. If you were late you'd expect Kuroo to at least call you questioning about where you were. That happened before, the first time you first started dating him, you had a dentist appointment and forgot to tell Kuroo you'd be a few minutes late. He called you two times, 5 text messages.
Overprotective boyfriend things.

This time he didn't even bother asking you? You were 20 minutes late at this point! With feeling almost neglected by your boyfriend you started to become anxious, thinking he was losing interest in you. Maybe you were just overthinking it.

You didn't even have time to change into the uniform which the managers wore. Still wearing the schools uniform, which was a basic skirt, polo shirt and blazer. You rushed into the gym, not paying attention to your surroundings. You bumped into someone, you look up, it was Lev.

"Y/n, you're finally here! Where were you? You okay, you look anxious?" Lev asked eagerly as you gazed up at the taller boy. You bit your lip, you may or may not have been overthinking about Kuroo. "I-i am fine? Sorry for bumping into you!" You responded, looking confused. You didn't even realize you had an uneasy look on your face. "Well if you say so then" he added with a shrug.

Placing your bags down on one of the gyms benches, the team was running through some practice games, so they already did their warm ups.  You felt pretty bad for missing the warm up, it wasn't like you to be late. You always wanted to be responsible. Kenma was sitting on the ground, his game console in hand. He finally looked up and noticed your arrival. "Our girl is finally here." He waved, giving a gentle expression to you.

You waved back, trying to smile. You thought for sure Kuroo would have already come up to you and ask why you weren't at practice on time, or ask why you looked so worried. Everyone on the team could see you looked nervous over something, however they just tried to mind their own business. Kuroo had just gotten off the court, he was standing around with Morisuke, and Taketora. Even Takeora noticed your existence. He gawked over at you, a big foolish smile on his face.

"Hey y/n girl! Looking cute in that uniform." The boy gave a thumbs up as you scoffed rolling your eyes. "Oh hey, nice to see you showed up y/n!" Morisuke called out. You nodded in response with a small smile.

Normally with Takeora's weird flirting Kuroo would call him out for it. Your own boyfriend didn't even bother to look at you. Now is when you started to feel disappointed with yourself. You sat on the bench with a sulking type appearance on your face. Trying to think about something else, your mind kept going back to Kuroo.

There was nothing to really help out with, the coaches were busy and had it all under control, it was a relaxed practice. You just sat in what was becoming irritation and gloom. It felt like the practice was going on forever.

Even Kenma, Lev and the other guys saw how upset you looked. You weren't the best at hiding your emotions clearly, you just didn't look like your usual self. Kuroo wasn't trying to do anything intentionally, he was just not focused today.

Finally the end of practice rolled around, Kuroo jogged you to where you were standing and chatting with Kenma. "Hey Y/N, can we talk?" He asked in a polite manner. You nodded your head as you walked over with him to a more quiet section of the gymnasium.

"You seem really upset, whats wrong babe?" He asked raising an eyebrow. He finally caught on, he knew something was up. You bit your lip, "it's nothing!" You reassured him. You were denying it.

"I know when my girlfriend's upset. Is it because we haven't spent much time together lately?" He asked, his hand on his hip.

You could only nod your head. "I-I'm sorry. I just feel like, you are getting bored of me. You usually see me every practice or when I'm late you always ask, today you didn't even say hi."

"Y/N...I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I didn't do well on a test today, the mark threw me off, it just wasn't a good day. How about this," he sighed, feeling bad for worrying you. "Let's head out and go get some dinner somewhere, after that we can do some shopping, then head back to my place?" Tetsurou suggested.

You felt a rush of relief fill your body, you couldn't help but give a big smile and wrap your arms around him in response.

"I'll take that as a yes" he chuckled, "yes please!" You giggled in return. "You're adorable-" your boyfriends compliment was cut off by Morisuke.

"Jeez man, took you long enough to realize she was upset. Guess the power couples back at it again" the boy smugly smirked at the two of you.

You truly did have a wonderful boyfriend.
