Part 7

It was nearly my turn. Bakugou's match was already over, though he wasn't happy

Before me were to strangers but their fight was really nice. Midoriya was still in the waiting area.

"Ah, good luck L/n-kun." Midoriya said.

"Hm? Ah, thank you."

I concentrated on thinking of techniques to defeat him.

Just don't come close to his mist. Use my wings to blow it away and push him out.

That was my solution. Not too hard, but most likely effective.

I got called into the arena. I stepped on the cement and just a wave of adrenaline came flushing over me.

All those people watching me. It was kinda distracting.

(Random person) was already standing there, glaring at me.

"Go!" Mic said.

He send smoke at me and just as planned I blew it away. I rose up into the air and dove down at him. I pushed him backwards until his feet were over the line.

"L/n wins!" Midnight announced.

Without saying a word I left the arena.

That was so damned short, but now I have to fight Bakugou...

I looked up and saw Bakugou leaving.

He stayed to watch my match? He should've started preparing during my match though...

I went to the waiting area where Bakugou also was.

"Nice match." He said.

"Unbelievably short and boring." I said.

Bakugou hummed and looked in front of him, concentrating.

There were a few others in that room and a lot of seats were open, but I sat next to Bakugou.

"Just know I won't be holding back on ya." I said.

"Good, 'cause I won't either."

I smirked and went back to thinking of a way to defeat him.

Before I had 3 solutions (if one failed) All Might came in.

"Young L/n, young Bakugou, come with me please." He said.

We stood up and followed All Might to a quiet hallway.

"So? What is wrong?" I asked.

"It's about your parents, young L/n."

I stayed silent, averting his eyes.

"Your father...he was set free after a trial and...he killed your mother a day after. He's after you, young L/n."

I didn't say a word and just appreciated the ground.

"And why did I get called in?" Bakugou asked annoyed.

"Since you two seem to get along, young L/n will be staying with you until his father is captured."

"Why can't I stay with Aizawa?!"

"In his current state...I don't think he can protect you right now."

I knew he was right, but...

"I'm fine with it." Bakugou said.

"Really?"

"Don't want anyone to die if I can do anything 'bout it. That's a hero's job after all."
