It was not like Harin didn't have any option , she had , she knew she had but she ignored all of it. She had options to stay back , stay still or to fight back.But nothing seemed to work that moment .

She dragged her trembling feet close to the closed door.Raising her arm just a little,she got ahold of the keys hanging on the wall key holder.

As she pushed the key inside the keyhole, her whole body wanted to whirl around and sprint to her room.She griped on the door knob and slowly turned it. With sweat tricking down her neck , she pushed the door open and heard the creaking of the door. When she stepped inside , the area was all silent only the water running down of the pool.

Harin further moved towards the pool taking slow steps.
It was like a battle she was fighting against her fears , it was as if she was making herself believe that she was brave.

With fingers curled into fist she observed the corners of the pool, as she stood close to the edge of the pool.
It was mostly dark , a little moonlight peaking through one of the curtains.

Finally she felt her body relaxing and she let out a long breath she didn't know she was holding.

But it was short lived because the moment she turned she felt it —a dark and fast figure running into her , making her loose her balance, and end up falling into the pool with a loud shriek.

It wouldn't be wrong to call it traumatised because she was when she came back up , all her braveness washed away , she was paralysed for the first few seconds.
She felt the coldness of water surrounding her.

And then when realisation hit she only thought of saving herself , it felt easy to just swim to the edge and run inside her room screaming and that is what she was going to do.

Until— her eyes went wide feeling a pair of arms around her legs pulling her down.

Harin started to dive and reach the edge,too late , the force beneath her was stronger .
Her arms and legs kick out as she tried to swim , yet she felt the water trapping her , her lungs screaming desperately for oxygen.

She fought with it even when she was drowning she tried screaming while she thrashed around clawing the liquid, no use no one was there.
She tried to breathe opening her mouth , but she only tasted the filthy pool water by that and the cold water thrust up her nostrils, the liquid cascaded into the back of her throat and nose , it was Painful.

The pair of arms kept her down with the same strong force made her whole body numb.

And in another few minutes with life fading slowly from her eyes she spotted red and black splotches dance in front of her , and soon she wasn't moving anymore it was all black.

With a stream of bubbles leaving her nostrils, her lifeless body floated like a doll in the water.

Morning was late to come.
But the horror that seemed to invade the Jeon Family wasn't.
That is how the next morning they all stirred awake with Jimin's loud scream.
