A couple could be seen walking down a dark strret on the bad side of town, water spitting onto them as if running through a sprinkler.

The rain made things bleak and bland for most people, but not for this couple. The rain seemed to wash away some of the regrets they had in the past, and only left behind the raw emotions that were truly there. If only for a moment.

It rained harder now. Small darts of water hitting them occasionally. The sky dark and glum. With the sun dipping lower and lower into the distant horizon.

They walked into the restaurant they were headed to. A small, 24 hour pick and order place, with mediocre sushi. Hizashi ordered the food, as Aizawa was never very good with this kind of interaction. So he sat quietly at the counter, waiting for the food to be served.

The couple talked for a bit, not really paying any attention to the time as it whizzed past them. There food arrived, and the ate slowly. Paying more attention to the conversation that was at hand. And before they knew it, they were done with the sushi.

Talking was all they did, with the rain going harder, no pumiling against the windows. They were the only ones in the small restaurant, so no one was there to be very judgemental of a gay couple in a restaurant at 1:30

Suddenly, the mode changed very fast. "Shota." With the sudden change of tone, Shota looked up with concern, "there's something i've wanted to ask you a while." Rain poured out the window

"And its kind of really important." The window panes shook with almost excitement.

He stood from his seat and got on to one knee. "But its something that is something i've wanted since we started dating." A flash struck across the sky

"There's no way to tip toe around this but, like, will ya marry me?" He had the simple rainbow ring in his hand. A defining boom filled there ears. With the sudden sound there heads whipped around, but seeing no immediate danger, they looked back at each other.

Not being to say a thing out of his mouth, he could only nod. And only now did Shota Aizawa the tears that rushed down his face, salty and leaving a red trail down his face.

Clapping was heard behind them, as the entire staff witnessed the whole interaction.

Only feet away, two people were making the hardest choice in there life. A man with scars all over his body and soaking black clothes, no older than 19, walked away from the only person that encouraged his will to live. But he saved this person. But he felt no happiness. No triumph. Only sadness as he turned his back on the person that he loved most. No, the boy. Sometimes you forget he's just a child, and he couldn't be selfish and keep him in that hell hole.

So having to make it back to the hell in question, he started to run to his destination.

Izuku on the other hand, was beyond terrified.

His head whipped around, back and forth. Where did he go? No. No. He lost another person. He's gone? He's gone. There's nothing he could do. Breath felt like a knife to his lungs. In and out. In and out. But worst pain was in his warped, misshapen leg.

But the rain poured faster.

Rain hit his face, soaking him straight to the bone. The small feathered wings on his back felt like tons to compared to his small frame, dripping with the icy precipitation as they dragged behind him, hindering his attempt to run even more. His flimsy and torn shit was soaked all the way through, showing off the caved stomach and skinny arms.

He heard the jingle of bells from beside him, only now noticing the small restaurant that sat beside his point of resting, the dim lighting coming from the windows on the building. A couple. They looked to be in their twenty walked out of the building. And only getting a moments' cover from the darkness, a huge light and a defining clap of thunder gave away his spot in the darkness all to soon, and the couple saw the frail boy in front of him.

Scared out of his mind, the boys only response was to run. It was all he could do. But the warped and swollen left leg made his experience a lot harder. Every step made the leg a lot worse, destroying the leg more and more. But he had no other choice, he could only run.

The only thoughts running through his head was the idea that he had to run as far and fast away as he could. They could hurt him! Or take him back and punish Dabi.  Blinded by a fear no one could explain, he didn't notice the wall that marked the end of the ally way, and running on pure fear and adrenaline, his face snacked in to the wall.

He searched and searched the blank sheet of concrete that was the wall. The was no opening. He couldn't fly, his wings are useless when they were this wet. He couldn't climb, there were no ledges to do so on. He couldn't run out, the people that were running into the ally stopped that plan all together. He couldn't escape this.

And so, as the adrenaline seeped away from his aching limps, he collapsed on the ground. Nothing was left to hold him up. His last resort was to make himself as small as possible and try and sink in to this wall.

The splashing foot steps of the couple he'd seen before came closer now, but seed the boy, shaking with cold and fear, stepped back in order to give him space. What were they supposed to do? Hero training didn't tell them anything about what to do in this situation. Sure there was a little bait of psychology that went in to it, but that was for suicide, and that was normally handled by the cops.

It rain some how harder now, as they both stood there with the weeping child sat in front of him. The black haired man was about to speak, but was interrupted by the blond man standing next to him.

He bent down slowly as to not scare the already terrified boy. Only then did he speak.

"Hello?" This unfortunately was said too loud, and caused the boy to shrink back even further into the wall.

More quietly this time he said "do you need help?" No response. 'Ok, so maybe he's illiterate? Or maybe he just can't talk. Come on hizashi. Think.'

And think he did. For the next hour he spent with his fiancé trying to talk to the boy. Asking a question or two, and maybe getting a nod in response. Eventually, Hizashi went to get food, Aizawa was left with the boy.

It took another hour to convince the boy to let them look at his injuries. Though, when they did, he didn't let them touch the injures. Only look. And upon looking, they were horrified to find the left leg was completely shatter, perhaps beyond repair. That was the main injury, but the other ones were badly dressed scars, burns, and whip marks. All of which were horrifying to find on such a young child.

So when he feel asleep, there was an ambulance called, and child was taken to a hospital. Hizashi and Aizawa went on the ride with the child, as they were the only ones that were even a little trusted by the boy.

When they got to the hospital, they were told to wait in the waiting room, and bowing the doctors off they went to sit in the small room that was the hospital waiting room. Being as late- well, early as it was, there were only one or two people that were also in the room.

After hours of waiting, (like 3 hours of waiting, they could at least tell them how long they'll be) there names were called to the from desk. Egar to hear the situation, Aizawa bolted right up, and rushed over to the desk. The lady behind the counter smiled, looked back to her computer, and started reading off of a list.

"Are you the people that brought Izuku in to the hospital?" They both nodded and a look of relief washed over her face "oh good. Seeing as you are the only people who can take him in at the moment, we ask that you foster him for a bit while social services find a way to treat the situation." Again, both men nodded. "Well, if you would follow me, i can take you back to the room he is staying in. He had to go under in a desperate attempt to save the leg, but- well you'll see in a second."

Now both of them were very concerned with the situation. They both looked at each other, and looked back to the lady. She lead them to where the hall way splits, and took a left. Then walked for about five minutes before coming to an elevator. Going up a few floors down a few more hall ways, and then finally stopping before a door.

She looked back at them. "He is still under, so i doubt he'll wake up. But if he does, please, don't over whelm him." Bowing, she left them to walk in to the room.

They unfortunately, weren't prepared for what they would see.
