The sea dragon bowed down breathing in the intoxicating scent that can only belong to his beloved. He transformed into humanoid form before freeing the unconscious boy from his bindings and held him tightly against his chest without leaving a sliver of space, to impregnate his soul with the warmth permeating from this body, Oh how much he longed for this warmth resting in his embrace safe and secure. Looking at the crimson marks left by the ropes on the smooth pale skin the dragon's blood boiled in anger how dare those filthy fleshlings touch him I should destroy this whole village. Bowing down he placed a kiss on those rosy lips. The said boy burrowed deeper in the dragon's arms in response, a content smile etching on his lips as he softly whispered "Lan Zhan you are here". Lan Wangji smiled softly adoration evident in his eyes hearing his name from his beloved's lips while thinking "You call out my name in unconsciousness but alas you don't remember me Wei Ying " . He held Wei Ying's hand in his palm intertwining their fingers together kissing every inch of it savouring the softness. Gazing at the sleeping angel he remembered the words Ying said to him moments ago "No no I'm not afraid" he chuckled against the hollow of Ying's palm, past memories and present overlapped making his heart intoxicated with overwhelming love. Be it in the past or in present Wei Ying never once changed, should he praise him for bravery or be angry with him for being foolish in face of danger. The golden hue of dawn brought him out of his thoughts. He looked at the rising sun and then at his beloved ingraining the sight as rays of sunshine illuminated Wei Ying in etheral glow. "It's time to go home Wei Ying'' he spoke softly. The sleeping boy in his arms hummed softly in response. Wangji laughed softly at his lover's adorable antiques he rained his face with loving kisses without leaving a space before transforming into his dragon form and diving down in the cerulean blue sea.
