chapter 1 small fox

( A/n note, Sonen is the name of the dovahkin in this)

(Sonen pov)

I was walking to bleak falls Barrow to get the dragonstone. On the way I was attacked by bandits.   They aren't much. But still a pain.

I saw an arrow hit one in the neck. I looked to see a guy with fox ears and a fox tail.

? Cheerful: Hello!

I turned back around just in time to see a bandit almost got me. I stabbed him. After killing them all. I met with  the stranger. He was checking pockets.

?: Found it! *pulls out sweetroll* *takes bite*.

Sonen: You did that for a sweet roll?

?: They stole it from me. They weren't nice. I'm Y/n! What's yours?

Sonen: Sonen.

Y/n: Cool! Mind if I tag along with you?

Sonen: I guess one more couldn't hurt. You're a good shot with the bow.

Y/n: Yeah. I don't like getting close. But I'm not afraid to use my dagger if I need to. 

I took Y/n with me. We ran into bandits as we were about to enter the barrow. But they were easy to deal with.  We got in and made our way through.  We made it to where a guy was stuck in a web.

A giant spider jumped down.

Y/n: Ahhhhh! *shrinks down* 

I killed the spider.

Y/n: I hate spiders!

Sonen: How did you get so small?

Y/n: I can shrink when I'm scared.  Or at any time really.

Y/n went back to normal and we cut the guy down. He ran off, but ran into dragur who killed him. We beat the dragur and took the golden claw.

We made it through to the final room. Defeated the dragur. And I felt like I learned a word.  Fus. I don't know what it means.

We went back to Whiterun and went to deliver the dragonstone. And then we had word of a dragon. At the nearby watchtower.

I didn't wait for Irileth. I went to the watchtower with Y/n.  We  saw the dragon flying. 

Sonen: Can you hit it from here Y/n?

Y/n: Yeah.

Y/n shot the dragon no matter what way it flew. Y/n always hit his mark.  The dragon was angry and flew down in front of us. I jumped on it and slashed it's head and once I landed the final blow jumped off. 

Something was coming to me from the dragon.  I felt something come over me.

Sonen: FUS!

A big blast of wind appeared.  No doubt I caused it.

Y/n: That was so cool! How did you do that?

Sonen: I don't know. Let's go report to the Jarl. 

After that I was thane of Whiterun and had Lydia as a house Carl. I didn't take her with me and took Y/n to the inn.

Y/n sat down.  I sat down next to him.

Sonen: So. Care to continue following me around?

Y/n: I would like that. But first I need food.

Y/n ordered a sweet roll and started eating it. His ears perked up and his tail went back and forth. It was adorable.

Sonen: Hey Y/n. Can I pet you're ears?

Y/n nervous: Y...yeah. But be gentle.  Their sensitive.

Sonen: I'll be careful.

I started rubbing his ears. He seemed to be enjoying it.  He also had an embarrased look on his fate.

Sonen: Are you okay Y/n?

Y/n: I'm fine.

Sonen: Does it feel good?

Y/n:Yeah. It's kind of embarrassing. 

Sonen: I could stop if you want.

Y/n: It's okay.  I like this.  You can keep going if you want.

I petted his ears for a little while longer. But I stopped because it was enough for now.

Y/n: What now?

Sonen:  I guess we go see the grey beards. It shouldn't be too long of a travel.

Y/n: Okay. So when are we heading out?

Sonen: Whenever you're ready.

Y/n: I'm ready.

I nodded and we left. 

We left the city and started traveling.  I enjoy having Y/n as company. He makes things interesting.
