Dianae’s POV

Nicole and Lynne sat up shocked and looked to their friend, demanding looks in their eyes.

“I had a failsafe seared onto my skin. For this purpose.” She said the last part in a whisper. She slumped back into the seat and sighed, rubbing her temples. Sam's eyes widened slightly as he noticed the tattoos for the first time. Silence fell into the car only the blare of Black Sabbath could be heard in the radio.

“Well, its a long drive to Bobby’s, we have about three hours left. I suggest everybody not driving get some sleep.” Nicole and Lynne nodded their heads in response to Dean’s low voice. Within 15 minutes everybody was sound asleep, at least Nicole and Lynne pretended to sleep, demons don’t sleep but they decided it would be best to pretend, for the benefit of the Winchesters. Everyone but Dianae and Dean had nodded off, or at least pretended to, Sam had passed out due to pure exhaustion almost immediately. Dianae looked out the car window and at the clear night sky. It seemed like forever since she had a nice look of the Earth’s stars and moon. She sighed and looked at the rain droplets that had began to fall, like tears trickling down the windows.

“You really should get some sleep.” Dean said as he noticed Dianae was still awake.

“I’m fine. I can’t sleep anyways,” she muttered. Dean nodded and looked at headlights illuminating the black road.

“Why not?” he asked. Tears flashed into her eyes.

“You know what PTSD is?” she asked, still looking out the window.

“Sure, post traumatic stress disorder.”

“Well, thats what I have. Everytime I close my eyes, my ears fill with screams and images of pure hell flash in my eyes.” Dean only nodded, knowing what she was going through. Dianae sighed sadly, small tears filling her eyes and gliding down her cheeks. She wiped them away. She looked at Dean sadly. She knew what he had gone through in Hell. She knew what he had to do. The pain he had endured. She knew what it felt like. She knew the images that still haunted his dreams. Pain in her eyes, reflecting what she felt for him. She sighed, she shouldn't be doing this. Her father would be furious. He doesn’t matter, she thought angrily. She came to earth to escape him. She wouldn't think about him anymore, or worry about his rules. She was here to be free. And freedom is what she strived for.

Her body shot up. Sweat formed on her face and she hugged her knees to her chest, humming softly to herself. After she calmed down, she swung her legs off the mattress and walked from her bedroom to the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror, her makeup had run slightly and her hair was a mess. She groaned and comed her fingers through her hair and tried to get rid of the running eyeliner. Seeing as it wasn't coming off, she groaned again and followed her nose to the kitchen. The scent of coffee filled the air and she looked at the clock. 7: 02. She heard footsteps and turned toward the sound. it was Sam. He looked like he ran from across the earth and back.

“What are you doing up so early?” he asked as he grabbed a mug of coffee.

“Couldnt sleep. Not well anyway. You?” she leaned against the wall and sipped her own coffee. He looked at her quizzically.

“What are you?” he asked, his eyes narrowing.

“Excuse you?” She asked, her eyes narrowing as well. The glaring contest was cut short by a trampling of footsteps on the wood floor. The two turned and looked at the source. It was Lynne and Nicole.

“Sweetie? We need to talk.” Lynne said.
