I ran around the corner, my shose sliding on the ice a little. Dad, where did you go, I wondered. I KNEW my father could take care of himself, he always has. But visiting all these A.U.s and not knowing my way around is pretty scary. Not to mention the fact Swap! Ink was here too!

I bet it sounds foolish, but I was- no, I am, honestly afraid of Pale. I am a kit, like my dear big brother says. The thought of Acrylic reminded me of what mom had said this morning.

I looked down at the watch on my wrist. 9:50 p.m., dammit! No mother I won't be home for dinner. I smiled at the thought. I needed to get my fur together. I took multiple deep breaths, keeping the image of my sweet Minnow in my mind.

Thinking of Minnow gave me newfound determination. Now where's dad, and how do you use short cuts again? I racked my brains, trying to remember. Nothing. I poked my head out from around the corner. I came face-to-face with another skeleton. I screeched like Banshee.

He covered his non-exsistent ears with his hands. "Geez Stream, I thought you where a cat not a SCREECH owl," He laughed.  I joined in. Yup! Diffently my father. I smiled after I finished all the laughing.

"Dad," I took a breath. "There you are. I need to get home..... But I f-" Template cut me off. "You forgot how to use shortcuts again," He asked, looking happy that he could help. I nodded.

He reached for his giant pen. I quickly turned to the pouch around my waist, and I pulled out my own little paintbrush. He drew the forest, I quickly scribbled the lake beside the tree line. He chuckled. I smiled at my accomplishment.

The painting formed into a window like thing. Moonlight shifting on the forest floor with the wind. I could imagine the November smells, and I could feel the wide smile on my face. "Bye Template!" I called back as I stepped through. I was 4 hours and 30 minutes late.

(This is a few hours before Stream's)

I grunted as Gator pinned me yet again. "Still think your the better warrior," He said boastfully. I only smirked.

My gaze flicked to the left, a dark grey and black figure ran out the trees, knocking Gator off. "Kamron!" I Mewed surprised. "What? You needed some help right there, buddy," She said darkly. Geez, I get she was going to have kits, but there was no need to be a bitch.

"I had it under control, thank you very much," I almost snapped. Gator rolled his eyes, "Suuuuuure." He said sarcasticly. I looked around. Stream, I swear to Template, if your slacking off with Minnow, I thought. I then growled.

"Calm your fur!" Kamron narrowed her eyes.
"For what?" I snapped at her.
"Your growling for no reason!"
"I'M WORRIED ABOUT STREAM!"

With that I turned around and streaked off into the woods. I ran into FallenSky on the way. "Woah, Acrylic where are you going at ninety miles a minute?" She chuckled.

I jumped back, was she not worried about Streamy? "I'm looking for Stream, she hasn't gotten home." My aunt nodded. "She still isn't home?" The desperate mew of a mother looking for her kit came from behind Fallen. I shook my head.

Mother looked like she was about to freak out. "Splashy calm down, Stream is a grown cat now. She can handle herself," Aunt Fallen said, trying to calm down SplashFoot. "O-okay, I will tell Minnow, and then ask Elliot to keep an eye out," Mom's meow cracked, I could tell she was about to cry.
