"Can you handle it Payne?" His boss gave him a stern look and stood up from behind his desk.
Liam stood up as well, adjusting his suit slightly, "of course. I've done worse."
"Good. I expect it done and done well. Make it look like an accident." His boss gave a slight head nod.
"Yes sir." They shook hands, sealing the deal then.
"You now work with Walmart," his boss handed him an employee card and an outfit.
Liam took it and nodded, also accepting the information on his target, "thank you sir, you won't regret it."
"I'd better not, Payne." John, his boss, sat back down and began running through the computer system.
Liam turned and walked out of John's office and down the hall to his own. He shut the door, taking a seat in his chair behind the desk. Then began running through the file he had been giving;
Name: Zayn Javaad Malik
Age: 27
Status: single
Place of birth: Bradford, England
Parents: Trisha and Yaser
Offences: held friend hostage, attempted bank robbery, shot down policemen, threat to society-
There it is. The key Liam needed to access the door. Now he knew why he was doing this, and suddenly he was more willing.
Liam changed into his Walmart uniform, styled his short hair into a quiff and walked out to his midnight black Porsche. Quickly he slipped his gun into his pants under his shirt along with his handcuffs and badge.
As he drove to "work" he thought long and hard about his job at hand. He needed to become Zayn's friend, become close to him, then kill him. But he had to stage it just right so it looked like an accident or suicide even. He also had to make sure Zayn never found out who he was. Liam didn't feel bad, this was just another part of being an FBI agent, you do jobs you don't want too. Plus it's not the first, nor the last person he'll be killing.
"Son, it doesn't matter how much blood you have on your hands, all that matters is who knows it's there." His dad, Geoff, said that to him after he first shot down a man who shot at his partner. Liam's continued to live by that saying. Sometimes he wonders why he decided he wanted to do all the dirty work, but it's fairly easy, and good money.
He pulled up into the parking lot and walked up to the store, this was going to suck.
"You must be Liam Payne! I was expecting you around this time." A tall blonde smiled brightly at him.
Liam stood at the Customer Service area and began questioning why he was here.
Liam just nodded and smiled.
"Great! Right this way!" The lady turned on her heels and led him into a room which opened into a staircase. They continued on up the stairs and then into another room, which required her to use a key.
"He's waiting for you." She smiled and held the door for Liam, who politely dipped his head and walked in.
A man sat at a desk, scrolling on his computer, blue eyes scanning over the screen. He looked young, to young to be a manager, but Liam wasn't going to say anything. His brown hair was styled into a quiff and he was dressed in a suit with a violet purple tie.
"Have a seat." The man spoke, gesturing to the chairs before him, his eyes never leaving the screen. His voice was light and had a certain hint to it that made it unique, "you speak english, don't you?"
