After dinner, the house prefect, Percy, guided us to the dormitory with the rest of the first years following behind. I was grateful that Percy guided us, because if he hadn't, I doubt I would have gotten all the information that I needed to find the Common Room in the future.
Having arrived in the Common Room, I asked Percy to find Hermione for me, as I assumed that we would be in the same dorm. Fortunately, I was correct. With her help, I managed to learn my way to my dorm, and once there, the bathrooms and my bed. Once I had found my trunk, I began to look through it for something to sleep in. Unable to find my pajamas, I had to ask Hermione for help. Thankfully, she was willing to help and said that if I ever needed help with anything, anything at all, I only had to ask. After asking her if she could wake me up in the morning, I went to sleep, hoping that tomorrow would be as good as today.
