All Alone Again

ALL ALONE AGAIN

Sitting in the corner,

Trying to think when it went wrong,

I've been here countless hours,

No one even knows how long,

Contemplating life,

And all the choices that I've made,

Hiding in the corner,

Gripping tightly on the blade,

Teeth are clenched together,

Getting ready for the pain,

Thinking its the only way,

To get out of these chains,

I'm a pris'ner of my mind,

Just waiting to be free,

Trynna find a way out,

But my mind's a mystery,

Searching for the answers,

To life's eternal quest,

To be faster, To be stronger,

To become the very best,

Then I look down at the blade,

and lift it from my wrist,

No body is perfect,

Everybody's shot and missed.

Sometimes the world around me,

Feels like an evil place,

Everyone's a monster,

Not a single friendly face,

Searching for a refuge,

In the time of storm,

Somewhere that is welcoming,

And honest in its form,

But then I come to realize,

There is no such a place,

I run and run into the night,

Without a single trace,

Tripping over promises,

And dreams that wont come true,

None of this makes sense to me,

I don't know what to do,

A fear of failure comes to me,

I feel like I'm alone,

No one else around me,

I've been left here on my own,

I struggle just to find a way,

To stand back up again,

But even tho I got back up,

The dirt still left a stain.
