Hoseok would visit his family today. They now had two weeks off so he thought that it would be the best time to see his parents and sister, who was a bit sick. He would check on her and see if everything was okay.
The only thing he's worried about is Jungkook. He couldn't help but think about what would happen once he was in another city, far away from him.
It's not like he wanted to leave him with the others, because he didn't want that. Hoseok was just thinking about all of the negative possibilities that could occur in his absence.
Now he was trying to say to Jungkook about his departure, only that he was leaving for a few days and would come back. Easy, right? No.
"Baby, can we talk for a moment, please?"
Jungkook, who was staring at the screen intently looked up at his caregiver and nodded, not thinking much about what the other really wanted.
"I will be leaving for a short while because i'm visiting my family. My sister is a bit sick, so i will check on her."
It would be better to not run in circles and get straight to the point. Anything that he could say would make the Little upset, either way.
"Leavin'?" yeah, those puppy eyes that Hoseok was waiting for appeared. "N-No!"
"It's only for four days baby, i will be back when you least expect it, mm?"
"B-Bu-But—"
"Sweetie, listen to me." he placed the Little on his lap, caressing his cheeks with his thumbs. "I will be out only for four days, we don't visit our families for more than three months now and i thought it would be nice to surprise mine! Don't you like surprises? They do too, honey."
"Kookie go miss Daddy..." he pouted, trying to make the saddest face he could manage to make Hoseok stay.
"I know Angel, i know. I will be calling everyday, Daddy won't forget about his favorite bunny."
"P-Pinky pwomise?"
"I pinky promise."
Jungkook decided to shrug it off for now and have a nap cuddling with his Daddy, not letting him go that night.
The next day Hoseok told the other caregivers that he would be out for a few days, so they only needed to take care of Jungkook while he was out.
