As Yuu caressed Yoichi's soft brown hair, he smiled and whispered near Yoichi's ear. "You better not be forming feelings for him"

Yoichi slowly digested the words for a second, before he immediately froze in fright. It was as if time stopped and it was going to start again, at the worst possible time.

No...
Please no. Don't tell me Yuu knows. Please. Don't do this to me..

Yoichi didn't realise he was tearing up a bit until he felt fingers wipe the tears rolling down his cheek. He raised his head to the boy he once loved. "I love you," Yuu said with a sweet smile. Yoichi saw his face from his position,probably too blurred out with the pain forming in head and heart.

Because he knew,

He had to let these feelings go,

Or it was going to end in tragedy...

So, Yoichi shook, looked down and tried to smile genuinely. "I love you too, Yuu-kun" This would always be their routine no matter what he did, so it was better to just let it be and not prolong the inevitable.

-and Yuu's head landed onto Yoichi's body.

"W-what?" Yoichi looked up and came face to face with a very unimpressed Mikaela. "O-oh!Your Highness, please don't punish Yuu-kun! He's just really excited to see me once again.." Yoichi's facial expression slowly went sadder as seconds went by.

I wish he would stop chasing after me..

Yoichi winced as he felt Yuu unconsciously wrap his arms around him. "Mmm..Yoichi..." Yoichi saw Yuu slowly smile in his sleep.

"He seems to really like you"

"Eep!" Yoichi yelped and replied, "o-oh.. yes. He..does...forgive me your highness if I'm out of line but...I wish he would have stopped chasing after me after I came here..I.. I don't love him anymore.."

Mikaela watched as Yoichi was in the moment of breaking down. Mikaela covered his mouth and made a sad expression. "I hope things will be better for you both. I'll be helping your friend over there get patched up before the blood loss kills him.." Mikaela said as he pointed to Kimizuki.

Yoichi stared and slowly nodded, "t-thank you, Your Highness". Yoichi couldn't believe it, the dark and cold crowned vampire prince was sympathising with him, a human. He even said he was going to help..maybe there was a way for vampires to form a bond with humans after all.

Unbeknownst to Yoichi, Mikaela was actually trying very hard to not smirk and laugh at his display of sadness. Humans are very easy to fool huh? Mikaela thought to himself and slowly made his way to the pink-haired friend.

It might be better if I just pull him out and let the guards take him to the medical stations.. Mikaela thought as he pulled out the male from the concrete wall and dragged him "gently" to the outside of the room. As Mikaela walked out, he remembered what Yuichiro said to him.

"So since I allowed you to call me Yuu, I need you to help me do something in return! Bring me to my beloved please!"   Mikaela remembered the pouty face that Yuichiro- no..Yuu, had made and agreed to it. However, he had a condition, he had to tell him where he came from.

After a bit of digging, he found out that he was the son of two other humans called Guren Ichinose and Shinya Ichinose. They were not one of the very top but were indeed powerful individuals in the human fraction. Yuu will prove very useful in my plans..

After all, Mikaela was going to be the one to rule both of humans and vampire alike.
