I'm not saying I don't think it was worth it
Not questioning my own beauty
I'm just saying, how are you meant to feel
When what they once fell for is now not enough
Being as real as one could be
Showing the light between the clouds
You'd said it's how you liked me
-without the scars
I'm not angry or trying to pick a fight
Nor be in your heart or life again
I simply want to understand
How can you build a future with me one day
Then say you can't the other day
