Bakugo's POV

'Ugh this guy is making me be all nice…!' I thought as I went and plopped into bed. Inside I felt that there were more hardships in his life than he was telling me. I sighed and stared at my ceiling with nothing running but my thoughts, heart…  and the lamp. After a little while of just rethinking the last few days, I grabbed my earbuds and listened to music until I fell asleep.

Kirishima's POV

After leaving bakugo's house I ran home with a smile on my face. His kindness, even though he was hiding it, reminded me a lot of my brother when we were younger. He would always clean up my injuries when we were younger. He's 4 years older than me so at the time we were both just kids, but now I'm 15 and he's an adult. It doesn't feel the same. When I got there I bursted through the door, "I'm home!!!" Toga was the first one to run into the room, "Hey Kiri-! Hey what happened to your face?" Tarou heard and came out of his bedroom to see what was wrong. "Oh it's fine, I got trampled by a crowd of people." I said with a smile to assure that I was fine. "Ok well who cleaned and bandaged it???" Tarou asked suspiciously. "O-oh, Bakugo. The UA student I've been getting info out of-" I nervously said. 'I don't think Tarou or Tomura want me developing a real friendship with this guy.. or anyone.' I thought looking down, almost ashamed of myself. "Ok Kirishima, what info did you get out of him today?!" My brother asked angrily. "I-I found o-out… y-you- have to have a student, teacher o-or visitor ID to get past the security." I stuttered trying to hold back tears. "I expected more from you kiri." He said sternly. I nodded slowly, "I'm sorry…" I went into the fridge and grabbed a few apples and threw them into a plastic bag. I went into my room and sat on my bed. I felt my face, wet. 'Why? Why am I crying? Whats… what's wrong with me?!' "Dammit!!" I threw an apple at my wall. It didn't affect the wall since they're made of concrete (The wall lol) for some reason. 'Why?! Is it because I disappointed my brother?! Is it because I actually liked those guys? I'd never be able to be friends with them! They're the…!' I stopped my thinking for a second. For a split second o felt nothing. I strange unsatisfying numb feeling. After I snapped back into reality the one word came out of my mouth. The word I now wished had a different definition, "enemy…" suddenly I heard a knock on the door, "Hey. It's Tarou… sorry. That was alittle too harsh. Can I come in?" I got up and unlocked and opened the door. Tarou hugged me. "I just don't want you to leave and become the enemy. Just promise not to get too close?" I was abit surprised about what he said. “T-the enemy…?” I paused to process what he had said. “O-of course not! I would never be able to live with myself if I left you, Toga, Dabi, all you guys! You’re my family and nothing will change my mind about that i promise!” he nodded with a soft smile. “Ok then. I'm going to go lay down for bed. Goodnight.. little bro.” he said softly before walking out of the room. I layed down myself and ate a few apples as I stared at the ceiling. ‘What if I want to get close? But cant i form a friendship without betraying my family? For now that’ll have to do I guess, because at this point… I don't know if I can control myself getting close to these people.’

Timeskip- 3 weeks

Bakugo’s POV

It's been a few weeks and Eijiro and I have been meeting at least once everyday. Sometimes just us, and other times morons in my class follow me and then join us, with no invitation. But he doesn't seem to mind them. He’s seemed to have formed pretty good friendships with alien chick, tape arms, and pikachu. Today was a friday and me and eijiro planned to meet up at my house at 12:00pm. I waited around for awhile before hearing a knock on the door. I got up and answered it and soon enough it was eijiro, “Hey Bakugo!” he smiled and walked in. “Hey.” he plopped onto my couch from behind, “So what should we do today?” ignoring his question, I said, “You seem to act like you own the place.” in a slightly annoyed tone, not that I was that annoyed. “Yup!” he nodded with a smile, “but seriously what should we do? Im boreeeeeed!” I shrugged, “Well this isn't about today but tomorrow Pikachu is having a party at his place and he wanted me and you to come?” he sat up and thought about it, “What time does it end?” “Haven't you ever been to a party??? You can go home whenever you want.” he smiled, “Yea sure that sounds fun! And no, I've never been to a party before.”. I chuckled, “Ok so for today wanna… go i dunno… go for a walk through town?” he nodded and stood up. He was wearing a pair of black crocs, a white t-shirt, and a pair of shorts. “Oh wait before we go i wanna show you something…!” I said standing up and grabbing his hand. I brought him upstairs and I went into the bathroom and got out some hair gel that I bought. “You should try this stuff out on your hair. I think it’d look good on you.” I said with a tint of blush. He took the bottle from me and deeply examined it, “How do I use it?” I chuckled under my breath, “Simple, you get your hair damp, put some on your hands, then you use your hands to put your hair any way you want, then you blow dry it, and it stays like that all day.” He smiled, "Cool!" After that he immediately spiked it all up. "So are you ready now?" He nodded happily and I slightly smiled back. We went downstairs and left. We walked to town as Eijiro told me random stories about his brother. To be honest I wasn't really paying that much attention to his stories, I was just admiring how he told them. His body language and tiny laughs every once in awhile. I snapped out of it when we got into town and Eijiro exclaimed, "*Gasp* Look! Water!" I actually laughed. I laughed at this. "You act like it's the first time you've ever seen water!" He grabbed my wrist and practically dragged me into the beach, a popular part of the town. "I've never been to one before!" He was acting like a little kid on Christmas morning. I sat down and watched as he ran around, kicking sand, laughing, and smiling. "Were you sheltered as a kid?" I asked looking at him. He stopped, "Yeah, I guess.. I didn't leave the house a lot, I hardly ever went outside or anything. My brother did everything to take care of me. "But whatever I'm just happy to be here!" He ran into the water until it went up to below his chest. He turned around and looked at me, "You should come in-!" Before I could say anything a huge wave crashed over him and he went under. "EIJI!!" I looked around quickly to see if he came up. Nothing. "EIJIRO!!" I yelled out to the water. No response. I ripped off my shoes and shirt and jumped in to get him. 'He probably doesn't know how to swim…! Dammit!' I thought as I desperately looked for him. I eventually heard hair bubbles and saw the waving of hands. I quickly grabbed him and swam him out. I threw him and myself onto the sand, "You idiot!" I screamed in his direction as I layed next to him breathing heavily, worn out. He didn't respond, "Eiji, get up." … "Eiji! Get up you idiot!" He coughed a few times before slowly sitting up. "S-sorry." "You scared me you idiot…!" I mumbled angrily. "Aww~ so bakugo actually does care~!" He teased me. "Shut up! I could care less!" … I lied
