Izuku Midoriya: A Child of Passion?

"Could Izuku be All-Might's secret lovechild?" Shoto Todoroki scribbled into his notebook as a start to a new investigation on the topic. "I mean, he just started to go out with the girl and it just so happens that Izuku has some sort of… relationship with All Might. And it would make sense. It would explain everything."

"Wait, what?"

"Look, we know Izuku's had a crush on All Might since before the third years began. He's already been in a couple of relationships. Why, then, would he suddenly change his romantic choices and be all over someone like Hiyoko Sakurai?"

"But why would he change at all, Shoto?"

"Because if he's going to go to any effort to make his crush Hiyoko Sakurai jealous, then he's going to have to go through some sort of crazy romantic journey with her before that happens. Why not have Izuku go on his own? He already has the courage and confidence to try anything. And there's no way that Hiyoko Sakurai could take Izuku to another world with him! She just wouldn't!"

"But what if he is just so into Hiyoko Sakurai that he'd feel the need to go through this romantic journey for her?"

"Then that makes his decision even more irresponsible. But you know what? I think Izuku is brave enough to take it. There is no reason why he couldn't just say to himself, "Okay, I'm going to do this." No, no, it'll be fine. Just trust that I'll be there to give him my support."

"What if he's not brave enough to do that? What if he decides he wants to stay in this world and fight to defeat the threats to it?"

Izuku's voice was soft, but his face was determined. "Then you know what? I'm going to stand with you. I'm going to fight. I'm going to fight to protect what I care about most, you and my friends, no matter what. I'll fight to protect them from the bad guys in this world, and I'm going to fight to make sure those people who are trying to destroy it are stopped."

A few moments passed. It seemed like Izuku needed a moment to compose himself, and after a few long seconds, he started to speak again.

"I'm going to do everything I can to protect you, too."

Katsuki blinked, and his eyes grew even wider.

"What the hell?! That's the only thing I would have expected you to say. How can I not understand how you can say that?!"

The redhead was stunned for a few seconds. But then her mouth slowly opened, and her eyes widened slightly.

"I mean it. I won't let you get hurt or die!"

Katsuki's face turned pale as the words made themselves out. She had never seen Izuku this hurt, and he was completely speechless as the girl in front of him looked completely distraught.

"Then I want you to do something for me."

She gestured for him to go to the ground and then ran at him with a fierce determination in her eyes.

"What will you do?"

Izuku paused. His mind raced. He had the idea, but he hadn't decided on what to do. But now that he was being threatened, he knew what he had to do. He had to run. He had to go and make sure she didn't get hurt.

He turned and sprinted towards her, his feet pumping. He had to get in front of her.

"Don't move!"

Izuku ran faster. He was already making his way towards the school when he saw the school's principal in his line of sight. His heart skipped a beat as he recognized the figure before him.

"Yukio Hagakure!"
