Mom smiled, looking him in his big brown eyes she held his hand saying yes you can son.
Zech and mom paced downstairs to the kitchen table. After spellings Z E C H name on the paper 📝, mom passed him the pencil to trace his name.
While he traced his name mom sounded out the letters properly pronouncing each letter.
Zech wrote his name about five times and traced the numbers one through thirty, once.
Mom was proud of Zech and hoped his name and number stuck with him.
Off he went flying up the stairs to connect the game. By then Jay had read two books and completed a math sheet alone for mom to review and their step dad was soon to be arriving home.
