The twins have entered the old abandoned factory.
Lazuli: "Wow, this place really is a dump. What did they even manufacture here anyway?"
Lapis: "I'm not sure, but it looks like they took a lot whatever they used withthem."
Indeed, the former owners did. The factory still contains some basic factory things, some large machines, conveyor belts, etc. but for the most part, for being a factory, the building is quiet empty. There's a lot of open space.
Lapis: "This is going to make hiding much more difficult."
The twins look around the factory.
Lazuli: "Hey, what about up there?"
She points to an area up above. It looks there's a room on what would be the second floor of the factory, but the walkway that leads to the door is missing a large piece of it. It also appears that the lower half of the stairs leading up the walkway is also missing. There are beams that criss-cross across the top of ceiling space as well as a few that go from floor to ceiling to hold up the ceiling.
Lapis: "That looks good but we'll probably have to climb up those beams, attempt to find a ladder that's still a ladder, or search the building for an alternate way up there."
Lazuli: "I doubt we have the time for either of those last two. Besides, I doubt there's another stairwell."
Lapis: "I agree. We'll have to find somewhere to hid our bags. It'll be much more challenging to climb up there with them, especially the heavy ones full of canned goods."
As he looks around for a place to hid their bags, Lazuli takes the frames out of her duffle bag and puts them in a pocket of her backpack.
Lapis: "Hey, how about over here, in this?" He pulls out a dusty box from behind behind some crates and barrels. "We can put the bags in here and then flip one of this crates over ontop of it. That shouldn't disrupt too much dust to make it obvious that they've just been moved. Not enough that that drunken bastard would notice if he even thinks to look back here."
Lazuli: "Good plan."
They put the duffle bags into the box and then Lapis puts his backpack ontop.
Lapis: "Shoot, it looks like there's not room for all of them."
Lazuli: "That's okay. I'll keep my backpack on me. It's light enough that it won't weigh me down and it's secure enough that nothing should fall out."
Lapis: "Okay. If you're sure."
Lazuli: nods: "I am."
After making sure that the box is closed without exposing that there's something in, they carefully flip one of the crates that has been on it's side over so that it covers the box. Then they slide that crate amongst some other crates staked behind some barrels.
Lapis: "Alright, it's time to climb."
Lazuli: "That was a really cheesy rhyme."
Lapis: "Yeah, it was."
They walk over to one of the pillars.
Lazuli: "These don't like all that stable or strong anymore. Maybe we should climb up separate ones as to not risk them breaking. It might be faster that way too."
Lapis: "Goodthinking."
