((I decided to be cruel and add a bonus to make you guys want more, because Author is a horrible person ;D))

Ib felt cold. Her mouth was sealed. Her hands were stiff around her dead rose. Ibs hand clenched the sweet candy that Garry gave her. She missed him, and Mary. She was so cold though, wishing she could wear his coat. But... she was dead... so how could she be so receptive to these senses? Simple; she wasn't dead.

Ib had ripped all but one petal. Her eyes opened weakly to stare at her rose. It needed water, but she was too weak to move a single muscle. She raised her head a fraction and saw Garry and Mary looking at her. They didn't know what had happened. They were staring at her though.

"What's this, lil sis?" Ib felt herself smile as much as her rigid muscles would let her. In that world, Mary had become his sister. This was good, he could care for her. Mary stared longer, visibly sad. Her attention shifted to Garrys hand though and she became a worried little sister. Ibs eyes slowly moved to the hankerchief on his hand. This twisted world was cruel enough to leave a reminder of her for them, it forced a tear from her eye to roll silently along her cheek.

Ib became startled when he peered closer, her clutch on her candy became loose enough to reveal it. Internally, Ib felt embarrassed being stared at like this but her body didn't react. Instead, she smiled through it all. She wanted to cry more, she wanted to leap out and be beside Mary and Garry. She wanted to stay with them, but she couldn't because she was trapped.

"Ib..." His voice was soft and unsure. "Garry..." She mimicked him inside her head, as her lips were too rigid to move on their own. She then noticed the scream of her name from Mary, who was in tears and the realization written all over her face. "Why Ib, you big dummy?! Why?!" Ib gasped and felt more tears welling. "I'm sorry." She whispered, her lips moving in the tiniest motions.

Mary began to throw a fit toward Garry, calling him horrible when he asked her what was wrong. "Don't, Mary, please." Ib sobbed. "Please don't remind him." She begged from behind her painted prison.

Garry moved toward Ib, and placed his hand where the candy was. Ibs hand felt warmer from his touch, even through different dimensions. Her brows creased and the tears gushed heavily, but weren't visible from their side. "Please forget me, don't remember." She pleaded to them both. "So your really did it, you sacrificed yourself for us..." Mary muttered through her cries. "Of course I would, you two mean the world to me." Ib replied but she couldn't hear her.

Then she saw it. The look she didn't want to see. Garry teared up. recognition and sadness invading his expression. She missed the first half of his sentence, but caught the last part. "Why are you so selfless?" He asked to her. But she couldn't say anything even if she wanted to. So she remained silent.

"I'm sorry." Ib murmured to deaf ears. She watched as Garry pulled himself partly together and raised Mary from her waist. He took her hand and gave a sad look to Ib. She knew they were leaving, but it wasn't goodbye. Mary didn't know that. "What are you doing?! We can't leave Ib here alone like this!" She screamed and caused a scene but Garry powered through and soon they were out of sight.

"Ib?" That voice caught her attention. Ib moved her eyes to search for the source. She should've been erased from everyones memories. Her father and mother included but... they were searching for her. They came to her painting but didn't recognize her however. "I'm worried; what if she got lost?" Ibs tears fell down in waves as her parents walked off with concern.

The tears fell on her rose, acting as a refresher. "That was cruel and unfair. How could they remember me?" Ib grew enraged, her arms regaining their strength. Someone was pulling the strings here. They controlled how this universe affects those who leave or don't leave.

"Well, you sacrified. That wasn't fair either. You were supposed to leave. You broke the game, so you pay." This was the first time Ib heard this voice. It was unlike any other. "Now go back to sleep, you can wake later when Garry and Mary come for you." The voice seemed aggitated, but Ib couldn't explore anymore. She was put to sleep in an instant, only to await the day when Mary and Garry returned.
