It was very late.John couldn't see because it was dark.He was afraid...but he didn't know why.He's office wasn't too far away from his home so this time he had decided to walk alone and for that decision alone he already felt stupid.He's colleague had offered to give him a ride home but he had to refuse.
A small stick being dropped by a bird from the sky on the cold autumn ground was enough to send him running home.But then he realized something.He was so caught up in his own thoughts that he didn't see where he was going.And now...he was lost.He stopped and looked around at the unfamiliar buildings surrounding him and sighed.He turned around and started walking in the opposite direction hoping he'd see a familiar building and be able to get home by midnight.
Suddenly steps were hurt from behind him and John but this time he didn't run.He stopped in his tracks.Too scared to run.But luckily the person behind him saw his petrified figure and spoke up.
"So what are you doing around this part of the city?"asked the misterios figure from behind.John only needed mere seconds to realize the one taking was his best friend Dabi.
"Ah thank God!I thought you were a killer or something!" John sighed in relief.
"Nup!Just good old pal Dabi!Come one I'll drive you home!"Dabi respond giving his the well known 'I won't take no as an answer' smirk.
"I'd really appreciate that.Thank you!"
And since then John decided that walking home after work was not a smart decision and never ever even thought about it again.
