5:45 p.m.
Hospital
My leg shook as we hall sat in the hospital waiting room. We was waiting on the doctor to come and tell us if she was okay. Even though I haven't seen my mother in years doesn't mean I want something bad to happen to her.
I then started thinking about Dani. Her, Jas, and India has after we got to the hospital. We only known each other for a few months and I already felled for her. Part of me saying I love her but I feel like I'm trippin. I don't even know.
The doctor walked up and pulled me out of my thoughts "Family of Bernice Brown"
We all stood up
"Okay she is doing fine, we were able to take the bullet out of her shoulder and her side. You can go see her in room 330"
"y'all can go, I got everything from now. he said
"you sure?" I asked
He nodded "yeah"
I nodded as he walked away to the room.
"Give her some Jay!" Tae said making everybody laugh
I smacked him upside the head "shut the fuck up nigga, ion wanna vision him fucking her"
"my bad nigga damn" he said rubbed the back of his head
I shook my head and got on the elevator as everybody followed in.
Once the elevator stopped on the main floor we got off, walking to the the truck and got in before going to my house.
"you still ain't talk to India?" Zya asked Dave
He shook his head "nah"
"y'all should talk, and before you start all that bitching and shit I know she fucked up, they all fucked up by not telling us April was cheating but just give her another chance because this the first girl you actually started to like Dave"
"okay Ima call her later dr. Phil" he said making me laugh
"same thing for you Andrea"
"yeah you tried it"
She smacked her lips "if Dave could forgive India, why can't you forgive Dani"
"because I don't want to" I said
"alright nigga calm the fuck down"
I shook my head as they started talking. Twenty minutes later we pulled up to my house. I dapped them up and got out the truck making my way to my door and then inside. I walked in the kitchen and grabbed my henny before going upstairs.
I made it to my room and changed into some basketball shorts. I reached in my dresser and grabbed my blunt. I lit it and began smoking it and drinking.
8:19 p.m.
I opened the door and let her in.
"wassup?" I said walking into the living room, she followed
"you been drinking?" She asked
"yep"
"are you mad at me?"
"nah Dani I'm happy go lucky" I said sarcastically
She sighed "I'm sorry Andrea but you have to understand that wasn't my place to tell?"
"and why is that?"
"because I didn't want it to look like I was a homewreker or made it seem like I was jealous."
"Dani how would you be a homwrecker? We didn't fuck while I was in relationship that don't make sense"
"Andrea I just didn't think it was right for me to tell you"
"Dani please get out, I asked you a question and you can't even get me a real reason why"
"Andrea I just told you why!" She stressed
"And it was bullshit Dani! Come on, you thought you was gonna be a homewrecke? Like really? I'm sitting here looking like a fucking clown and this whole time you knew! I trusted you, If you knew I would have expected you tell me because if it was you ya damn right I woulda told you! Not only for the respect I got for but because of how i feel about you!" I yelled, making her flinch
What the fuck? Do she think I was gonna ...
I stared at her "y-you think i was gonna hit you?"
she nodded
"w-why would you think that?"
She got quiet
"is is because of what Damien said earlier?" She nodded
"I would never put my hands on you Dani"
"Did you put your hands on April?"
"yes but I was stressed and angry. I let my anger get the best of me and I just flashed out."
"so if you was stress or angry would you take your anger out on me?"
"I'm stressed and angry right now do you see any bruises or blood on your face?" She didn't say nothing
"wow not only I get lied to but now I got you afraid of me like I'm a fucking monster. You don't even know how I was feeling or what even happened fully. Any other time when we together I never make you feel like you not safe."
She nodded "Andrea I don't think your a bad person but maybe it's best we just stop what we have, if we have something." She said getting up walking to the door
"Dani" I grabbed her arm making her turn around
"you gotta believe, I would never put my hands on you or hurt you, period"
She looked down at hand making me remove it.
"Please do-"
I got cut off by her walking out the door
I just stayed there and cried.
