"Steven, where are you going?" I asked him as he starts packing. "I'm going to Connie's for a sleepover" Steven said, swinging the bag over his shoulder. "Aren't too old for that now?" I ask, cocking an eyebrow. "It's never too old for sleepovers!" Steven said, running out.

I sigh and shake my head, "I swear, sometimes I don't get that kid, teen? Whatever" I mumbled, sitting on the couch, covering my eyes with my arm. "Why don't we have a sleepover?" I suddenly heard Garnet ask.

I jump a little and spin around. "Do you like sneaking up on me or something?" I joked, glaring a little. Garnet chuckled. "Kinda" She said, sittimg down. I growl, "anyway, I'm not into sleepovers anymore" I said, annoyed. "We'll see about that" Garnet smirked, me gently blushing.

I huffed and walked in the kitchen. I tried grabbing a knife to spread butter  along a pancake that was in the fridge, but a sudden bright light stopped me along with a voice saying, 'Don't do it! Don't do it!'. Then...nothing, the brigjt light was gone.

I look around, confused. "Everything alright?" Garnet asked. "Uh, yeah" I said, unsure myself. I then grabbed the knife...nothing happened this time. 'Huh, weird' I thought before spreading the butter along the pancake.
