first day

CHAPTER 1

First day of school, always a great day for students, don’t you think?

Whenever I think about it, I mean as a new girl in town I have to start a new life here make friends to, it usually takes a while for me to make friends but what can I do?

My first class is English not like I could find the room, I got lost in this big high school I wonder if I could find someone to help. While looking for my class I bumped into someone so hard that all my books fell to the ground, me picking them up,  the other person helped he was a guy cool one I guess I couldn’t tell suddenly I hear him speak to me “OH, a newbie I bet you’re lost. My name is Billie by the way nice to meet you.” ’you are??’ he asked. “OH right, am Zai as you can see I am new and yes I am lost.” I said formally. “What grade are you?” Billie asks. “I am a junior. You” I asked. He looks surprised “I am too. Show me your schedule” he says. I give him my schedule confidently, “it seems like you’ll be coming with me Zai, you found yourself a new friend.” He smiles. “Ok then let’s go where going to be late Billie. My new friend.” I smile back. We walk to our English class, we walk in I introduce myself and sit next to this girl called Donna, I sit saying hi. We get to know each other while the teacher is obviously teaching. Billie was sitting next to his friend, he’s called Aiden he’s Billie’s friend. As soon as the class was over the four of us walked out to head to our next class, most surprising thing is that I already have 3 friends in my first day of school and that we all have the same schedule, isn’t that amazing! We are going to be heading to the gym, we meet our gym Coach, Coach Higgins he told us we will be playing Basketball today, Coach Higgins chose his two team captains Billie and Aiden. They had to choose their team members as he said. They stood up calling peoples name one by one. We were almost 18 students so they will divide us up to 2 teams which contain 9 members in it.
Billie and Aiden started calling out names, Aiden started first ‘’ Zoe, Marc, Sophie, David, Harry, Donna, Willie, Jessica, Stephan.” Billie chose “Zai, MJ, Zain, Aaron, Ron, Russ, Cheri, Rosi, and Kat.”
We started the game normally just passing to each other me passing to Billie, Billie passing to MJ, MJ misses the ball, Aiden takes it and takes a shot, they were happy. We had to get a goal now, so Aaron takes the ball gives it to Rosi, she gives it to Kat, she gives it to Zain, and he scored too.
After a while of playing, we were all tired and the thirsty, Coach Higgins gave us a 10 min break until we go back, the score was 13-15.
After boosting up our power we all got back up to play again, the game was fun, team 2 had to get some scores now, MJ took the ball started of playing throwing it around to everyone it came to Russ’s hand and he scored, we finally had our hopes up, Zoe passes the ball to Aiden, he gives it to Sophie, she gives it to Willie, he was about to score until I see Billie stopping the ball from entering the basket, it was awesome, how he did it, we all had our mouth wide open, we never expected it, Billie took the ball started throwing it around, he was so fast, when the ball was given back to him he scored, we were even now. We heard Coach Higgins whistle he was telling us that whoever gets the last score will win. We got excited for it because he’ll give bonus marks to the winner team. We start playing, Billie was like a monkey he was all over the place, I had to do something to help I didn’t score, not even once, Marc had the ball I just had to take it from him and throw it in the basket, it sounds easy when I say it, but I wish it was. Marc was passing the ball to David, before it reached him I took it started running I gave the ball to Ron, but he keeps on giving it back to me, saying that I should try scoring, Donna was coming for the ball I had to think fast, I started running towards the net, jumped as high as I can go, my eyes as wide as they can ever be, I land on m feet thankfully “Did the ball go in?” I say out of breath, I look around; they were looking at me like I did something impossible. After a moment of awkward silence we started jumping and screaming for the last goal I was still wondering how I did it. When the day was over I had to go home but because it’s my first day and I already made 3 awesome friends I won’t. We made planes that we’d go have some lunch somewhere; I don’t know anything about this town so they’ll be taking me with them. We went to this restaurant called P.F.CHANG’S, they had most amazing food I have ever tasted we all ordered some DYNAMITE SHRIMP, with some FRIED RICE, best food ever, we were all full. When I reached home, all I did was take a shower and go to bed.
